And what would happen if you take a crop sensor camera, so APS-C or MFT and a long lens with 500mm+?
Ahh yes its better than the smartphone or nikon superzoom „camera“
BRO WHENEVER I PRESS IT IT DOSENT WORK
Moon is not that far away he is inside the dome
Well, the S22 ultra is using AI to take better photos comparing to the P1000 which uses pure zoom
No shit sherlock
😂😂Right! It's fake.
No it is not i tested it by my self bu zooming it on sun even I could see the dark spots of sun
@@Dedyloxyyeah right seeing the dark spots of the sun without any filters lmao
@@germanfisch bro just click the photo during sun rise and lower the light
The Nikon P1000 does a awesome job.
The telescope was not aligned with the S22 ultra telephoto camera😄
Of course they are meant to use the main camera with a telescope if you use the zoom you'll use quality
@kirakira9906 Even the main camera was not aligned if you will replay the video.😄
@@PrankKingsTaymprobably just an example
the S22 just uses AI to make up what it thinks the moon looks like. its not actually a real photo. You can easily see that there are craters that are very much missing on the phone photo
Fake
@@fuzer4047I rechecked the photo and no craters were missing but just not sharp enough to be visible enough it uses ai to enhance edge sharpness and the color and the smoothness for it not to be as rough
Source? It's "Enhanced" samsung isn't using if else statements and 1s and 0s to make up the moon out of nowhere
@@Great_WesternTVFan The source is the countless amounts of users who have tested this and confirm it. Samsung is absolutely using AI to create more detailed moon photos, their telephoto lens isn't further reaching or high resolution enough to catch what these images show. Turning off the enhancements on the camera results in a much less detailed moon. Notice how I'm saying "detailed", not sharpened or contrasty. There's smaller detailing and shadows that are missing if you switch it off.
Also the way you're talking about AI models makes me think you don't believe all this just because of your poor understanding of processing AIs. Get educated, other companies have been busted doing this exact same thing in the past.
@@anecro "gEt eDuCaTeD" lol you are understanding stuff through user's interpretation. How about you google the difference between AI Enhance and AI generated? The Samsung Camera is not making a fake moon image.
Ai just polishes but the 100x zoom is real.
U mean Ai generates words on posters in 100x zoom. Crazy people
Finally a comment done by someone with a brain
@@Great_WesternTVFannah both of you just refuse to accept samsung’s moons are fake
I don’t understand, it’s not like the camera is completely Ai generating what it’s zooming in on. And you act like it uses no Ai when it’s been proven that it does. That if I understood what you were saying in this comment
I'm waiting s23 ultra zoom test🔥🔥

You forgot that Samsung makes fake moon photos while nikon p1000 does them legit...
Optical zoom will never compare to digital zoom.
Exactly ! Telescopes are big and chunky, because they are powerful tools. I have a 150/1400 Newtonian telescope and with it i could watch the moon for ours by how well you can see the details. Optical zoom of a sony cybershot 5mp beats a 108mp phones digital zoom ! The camera is over 20 years old ! I did a video where i shot the moon just with this old sony camera, and it's amazing for what it is
yesss
And because the nikon has a Bigger sensor
携帯は限界あるね
Bro imag8ne next csmera from Nikon after P1000
And you have tho the Sony DSC H400, it have an 63x zoom and Can go to 126x numeric zoom (it cost under than 200$)
True brother even i tried it on a very old nikon coolpix of mine and its clear too the camera that i used is only a nikon coolpix s9050
And Nikon now stopped making the 1000 after they signed an agreement with NASA What is being hidden?
P1000 can do so much better than that moon photo
Samsung can lie 😂😂😂
Why my 10 old year Olympus has a better image than Nikon P1000?
And it’s not even a DSLR
Remember that the p1000 despite its impressive zoom lens, have to use a smaller sensor to help with that magnification. In fact, the sensor size of the p1000 is only 1/2.3 inch, which is the average size of most smartphone camera, also the sensor of the p1000 have a crop factor about 6x compare to a 35mm full frame sensor to help achieve that focal range.
It does not. Despite (and because of) the small sensor (small sensor is the trick to achieve high zoom) P1000 takes the best images (most detail) of far away objects like the Moon, out of all non-professional $10K DSLR lens + camera combos. It however sucks for everything else than the farest objects. It's a one trick pony. The image shown here is not even close to what P1000 can do.
Also the image taken at 3000mm eq. isn't super sharp, but it is still sharper than anything else zoomed so close. Take a more expensive Sony RX10 IV 1" bridge camera (24-600mm). Zoom it digitally to 3000mm. P1000 wins it with ease. Get it?
Sony is much better camera overall. One of the best all-around cameras. P1000 is only good for >1000mm. But IF THE P1000 HAD LARGER SENSOR, IT WOULD NOT TAKE AS GOOD MOON IMAGES. That is because better quality 600mm telephoto DLSR lens cannot beat P1000 at 3000mm (I have one!) with larger sensor, the smaller sensor can do tricks that cannot be achieved without smaller than DLSR sensor. I was surprised myself, but so it is. My 3x price lens cannot beat P1000. P1000 lens is actually 539mm f/8. It sucks, but with the tiny sensor it can do magic compared to 600mm f/5.6 lens or similar with good teleconverters.
@@kiisseli1337 so the conclusion is “it sucks” for this price.
Probably because the nikon has a tiny sensor
Zoom into the pluto
S24 ultra has a 50mp 5x lens
I use S24 but it is not real
P1000 ganster
Yeah, Nikon P1000 is 125x optical zoom, with 5 axis (I think) image stabilization.
So 100x is not even max optical for the Nikon.
What you will find at that zoom level is that the moon will walk out of your shot as the earth rotates.
😂

S22 has blood moon and Nikon not
Bruh that’s not a blood moon and p1000 is much better for taking moon pics anywyas
Knee-Con
We get it, the camera have crusper image sure. But whos carrying that bulky thing around with chargers and spare baterrys and in certain cases a tripod. Like stop comparing bazzoca cameras to phones, the point of the phone is going out in your pijamas and being able to catch a cardinal from a distance without having to run back home and begin your setup. By then the bird wouldve fly away already.
It's about the quality of the image. Your phone's "x100" zoom can not pick up planets (because i tried and it didn't work). There's a difference between seeing a white dot on a black background or seing venuses crescent phases (which seeing trough a telescope looks so beautiful). There's a reason why telescops and telephoto lenses are big. For a quick snap sure, but eaven regular lenses do a better job for a quick snap
It’s not like planets just fly away
Can anyone tell me whats the best dalr camera under 140$?
D3200 and D5000
Or you could get a mirrorless which is more future proof
The fact that a telescope actually improves s23's zoom capabilities prove that its not just a picture of a moon or an ai generated img
Nope it’s AI, look it up. It generated those craters

You have to ask.. wonder seems these guys know nothing about Cameras. To even question this
Amazing
s22 fakes the moon
hahahah we all know that Samsung cheats with the fake moon image put in by the AI. It's NOT what the phone can see. You want real, get the Nikon.
Funny because the ai does this to every single photo you take. Not just for moon photos
Exactly ! So it's actually worse than that too ! Nothing can beat a old chunky big lens or telescope
@@JRBowling1997yes, it sometimes eaven over process my sky in some photos although i don't eaven have the s22 ultra. All phones alter the image nowadays
U mean ai generated accurate patches. Young dumb and 😂
@@JRBowling1997 It's not the same thing. Are you people blind? The AI can use tricks like random noise patterns to add details to clouds, smooth out your skin, play around with saturation, sharpness and brightness levels, but it doesn't inject new information in images, not until now anyway.
You do know that detail is baked into an image right? You are aware that once you take a photo, the detail on that image relies on your resolution, the lens and your focus right? You can't take a picture using a 10 megapixel mobile 230mm camera and expect that level of detail or shadows on the craters, it is able to catch some of this thanks to the focal length alone but the finished result is injecting additional detail into a digitally enlarged image. It's been done before too, multiple sources have run tests and proven it in this case too and even Samsung came out about this, wtf is your deal
These comments are honestly cringe. The S22 has AI enhancing. Not "generating". Gosh this misconception is getting out of hand

Fake moon and Real Moon
Samsung were fined for artificially replacing your moon picture as you took it with one in the cameras database which was a hidden database.
So when you selected the moon function there were 1000's of clear moon pictures and when you took a moon picture the camera would pretend it's processing it but in reality it was finding a best match in its database. You then thought you took a great moon picture.
