I think there should be some locking system when it is folded for to sit
The castors lock so that it can't roll forward away from the base/headboard.
And...also for hand rest ..left right portion can be made some long..

Jediah a more sturdy support I was thinking where the hinges are nearest to the headboard. I love the idea though.
