My favorite UA-cam fisherman by far! The likes are no screaming, you take your dogs with you and you target catfish. I also really enjoy that you reply to comments! Catfish Dave and so many others never reply to anyone's comments or questions so I don't watch them. I'm still hoping the best for Woody as a cancer patient myself and just hope he isn't in any kind of pain like myself. Your videos really help me get through my days.
My favorite as well. I also feel for woody. Fuck cancer. Many family members of my own canine and human alike have been affected. Sincerely my best wishes for you and yours Mark. Hang in there.
You’ve got the catfish grand slam in your first new kayak trip! It looks very stable and has plenty of room for all the stuff we need for a two day fishing trip. I’d really like to see more videos like this, I really enjoy it. Thanks as always, Spencer!
I'm hoping to do a 2 nighter in a few weeks as long as Mother Nature cooperates a little. I'm trying not to get too excited just incase she doesn't haha. Thanks for watching man!
I love how a blue cat just smokes a bait lol. If you’ve ever seen a grizzly eat blue berries, the blue cats remind me of that. Bears eat blueberries like they are mad at them lol. I envision a blue cat just all mean mugging a bait then BAMMMM lol
I got a little scared during the storm. So glad to see you take cover off the water. Staying safe is job one. It was a fishing trip and an adventure too. Thank you. Stay safe.
Wanted to ask....Why do you place poles out the front and not to the side when it looks hard to push forward then back to bring in fish. Could this method work for me from the bank? And great views from drone.
Great video Spencer. I thoroughly enjoyed watching your adventure catching all those beautiful cats. Always appreciate when you share your trips with us. Thank you my friend.
Thats the same yak i have been dreaming about for a few years now. With the skupper plugs inn it can hold 600 lbs.cant wait to see more vids with this. And im built like your brother so thats why i wanted the unlimited.
Can't wait to see some videos once you get the entire kayak setup to your likings. It's always nice when everything is just like a well oiled machine when fishing from a kayak.
All your fishing videos are awesome, not boring at all like some others. I was hoping there would some fish cooking along the trip, but I’m still enjoying very much. Like I say it still better than a good day at work. ✌️✌️✌️
What a trip man, I just got back from a long one myself chasing trout in the high country. We did pretty good overall, no storms and scored a mild sunburn. Still can't find cats in this blasted state!
That was a nice relaxing trip ,great way to break the new kayak in ,great to see you having fun, thanks for the trip Spencer , you hybrid heavy weight lol
That nue canoe definitely looks very sturdy. I've been doing a lot if research on those ones, and being a 300lb feller, I need something that can haul a load 😂 . Great video Spencer, and you did look more comfortable in the new kayak. How often do you get dropped off and picked up down river, after your adventures? That was always my concern when I get a kayak. The tranquility when you're alone on the river is by far the best therapy. Having the issues I have, from the military it's the best therapy one could ever get.
Your old frontier actually led me to my Ultimate. When I saw your teaser on IG (maybe?) I was excited. I got the gear box up front for the storage, but also the track for my forward camera. I am also thinking of doing the fish finder there. Battery storage etc. One of these days that work allows me back on the water.
They're tough to beat, especially if you don't have a big boat. Now that I don't have a jet, it's perfect for the river trips. Hope you find time to get on the water man.
Glad to see you back in a yak, enjoy all your videos brother, but from one yacker to another,i just got a soft spot for a big cat out of a kayak...good job, Hope You Catch A Giant
Awesome video as usual. Keep them coming. The clamp you use to tie off the kayak to the wood plies, What brand or style is it. looking for a good one for my kayak adventures.
Kinda looks like some of the spots around the meramac river, down south of st,louis.its a pretty good place to fish, never know what u will catch.anything from wipers, walters, the venerable drumfish or any 3 of the catfishishes species, plus all the carps an gars.my buddies 2 boys just caught a 25 lb big ugly on their last camping/fishin trip before they headed back to school.
Congrats on the catfish trifecta! In regards to beef options, have you had tri tip? It has become my favorite cut for the grill, and it’s best the way you like to eat meat - med rare and juicy! You need to put some salt in your general kitchen supplies, and resting it 10 minutes goes a long way.
I use a similar system in my kayak, I found better results when my air-irator is off I believe they can hear it, sound waves travels way better in water.
Turtle free....is the way to be🤠. Another Spencer quote. Friend caught an 82 pound blue today on the big crick bumping. We caught a few tens and twenties and then the biggen. Sept big fish month is starting off with a bang🤣. Great vid and keep your powder dry and your pantry stocked young man 💪😎🙏🏾
I run an amped outdoors 100ah for my old town predator 13 and it runs my motor and my Garmin striker 7sv and some lights for days great battery for sure 👍🏻
Hell yea nice kayak! I ended up grabbing the Oldtown Sportsman pdl 120 instead of the Precision outlaw because it popped up on sale for nearly the same price as the outlaw! However I will say, the sportsman 120 is 85lbs EMPTY and that's a task for a guy that's my size (I always use the seat in the low position if that says anything) 😂
I purchased a kayak a little while back to fish my local river. We have chanel cat and flat head, but I've yet to catch a flat head. The gar seem to find live bait almost immediately, kill, and mutilate it! I've had better l luck lately catching chanel cat close to the banks just a little over a foot deep. Yesterday I had one jump like a bass and spit the hook. I've never seen a catfish jump like that before, and here you had a jumper!
Jackie Chan 😂 I been waiting for you to use it! Very glad your first cat in the new yak was a CHAN! I’m going out tomorrow in the yak hoping to get a big ugly one!
@@RiverCertified I found them! Lost a real nice one, but I’m going back for round 2 tonight! I dropped down to medium action rods for the kayak trips so they all feel like giants.
I traded my frontier 12 in this spring for an unlimited. My setup is pretty nasty now Spencer. That kayak is awesome man. You’re gonna love it. Great video by the way. 💪🏼
I think they're definitely an upgrade from the Frontier. The in hull storage was kinda nice, but the drainage and rigidity of the deck is absolutely awesome on the Unlimited. Really looking to put it to the test on big water in a week or so.
how come the big meaty fish are good cutbaits for hot water? Vs Shad i assume? That first fish on the spinning reel was a nutty fight. i was betting on a hybrid/wiper. I really like how you structure these long float camp videos, and their flow overall. I definitely feel like im there! Your commentary is great. I like the breakdown of the new kayak too in the intro. say hi to skip for me.
Went fishing with my daughter at my in law's over the weekend again and she caught some sweet gills and we had all the bullhead we could ask for right off the end of the dock.

I got a little scared during the storm. So glad to see you take cover off the water. Staying safe is job one. It was a fishing trip and an adventure too. Thank you. Stay safe.
Yeah I don't care for storms much on the water. Probably my number one fear out there. It's part of the adventure, but easily my least favorite part.

The eagles were beautiful 🦅 Great upload man!
Much respect Spencer. She doesn't have big populations and like all rivers can be very difficult. Mile wide and a foot deep!
Hey how are you
@Thatdamfishingguy Good! I saw you tying jigs. Good idea, they last longer than plastic.
@@johnnyfish6051 yeah I found I like the heck out of tying jigs I got some rooster tail kits so I’m going to start making them myself to
The addition of the drone footage is badass. I noticed it on the last video I watched too but forgot to comment. Awesome video keep em coming
Gladnya like it. It's fun to fly around too haha
I completely agree, channel cats fight harder than any other cats 💪
