They are false teachers and are not interpreting any of this correctly including the simple scriptures. They don't even have the milk.

It’s amazing how must of the Christian teachers keep teaching so much false doctrine about the 70 weeks of Daniel, a seven years tribulation period at the end of times and the three and a half years of reign of the Antichrist. Pastor Doug Batchelor makes the difference and is so accurate showing how the Word of God tells us the truth.
It is no longer a 70-week prophecy IF you pull the last week off and put it out somewhere in the future.
He is teaching falsely too. His teachings of Daniel don't come from the word of God.

Doug IS teaching the truth from God's own angel Gabriel, it was a Catholic priest that mixed it up and he did it intentionally, moving that week away from Christ's time, down to the end of time.

The spirit of truth not error , study your bible , apparently you don’t understand prophecy that’s 3 and 1/2 years , 42 months or 1260 years , the persecution of Gods people during the dark ages was from 538 - 1798 .. ( 1 day =1 year , Number 14: 34 one day to a year principle )
It is this church that does not understand prophecy and are teaching lies from a false prophet that you also cannot discern. You dont know who Jesus is misinterpret Jonah last week in your bible studies, misinterpret Deuteronomy regularly as well as the line upon line scripture.

I'm not sure who your comment is in reference to. Pastor Doug has repeatedly affirmed the same thing you just said. I don't know why you felt compelled to post a redundant comment when he never said anything that disagrees with that.
The word "anti" in antichrist does not mean someone who is going to be openly anti (against) Christ. That word "anti" in the original Bible language can actually mean "IN PLACE OF". So could the bible antichrist be someone who has actually put himself "in place of" Christ? Well, we have further Bible evidence to support this. In 1 John 2:18-19 it says that there were "many antichrists", who "WENT OUT FROM THE CHURCH". In other words, John is pointing to the fact that those "antichrists" were WITHIN THE CHURCH!! Not only that, but Paul in 2 Thess. 2:3-4 calls the man of sin the "son of perdition". Now there is only one other place in the Bible where the name "son of perdition" is used, and that is in John 17:12 talking about JUDAS! And what was Judas? A professing follower of Christ Jesus. Someone who deceived from WITHIN the "church".

Vanessa, it is possible to go to heaven without seeing death because it happens to both Enoch and Elijah. They are the Biblical proof. Here are some further reading you might enjoy on the subject. The seven heads are symbolic of seven kingdoms, starting with the beast of Daniel chapter 7
1st < Babylon
2nd < Medo-Persia
3rd < Greece
4th < Pagan Rome
5th < Papal Rome; the little horn
("that was" & "is not" & "yet is")

The woman that rides the beast is in captivity at the time of John's vision, AFTER receiving the deadly wound from the (atheist) beast from the bottomless pit [Rev 11:7]. This is the beast of THE TIME of John's vision IN THE WILDERNESS.
(Meaning that John is in the wilderness in his vision and not physical on Patmos, and he sees a beast that would come up from out of this wilderness. Read Job 38:26.)
The 7th < "is not yet come"
At the time of John's vision *in the wilderness* this head of the beast was yet to come; this is *the beast from out of the earth* [Rev 13:11];
(And he shall exercise all of the power of the first beast...) when this beast will speak like a dragon.
This beast must continue a short time, as per the others before him.
I believe by the testimony of Jesus, that we are now living in that "short time".
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

:11...even he is the eighth, AND IS OF THE SEVEN, and ascends out of the bottomless pit and goes into perdition.
--There are seven heads at the time of John's vision, five kings/heads/beast are fallen, so this eighth is of the seven kingdoms...."that was"...."and is not"...."yet is" AND received a deadly wound; AND his deadly wound was healed.
This wound is the loss of her (the woman/church that rides the beast.) temporal sword (also her captivity), which is the earthly secular world kingdom.
This is the image of the beast (that great city), who like Babylon of antiquity, who thinks to usurp church and state craft.
The number eight is a metaphor for the resurrection. The eighth is resurrected from a former head of the seven; the 5th head that received a deadly wound.
(When he shall go into perdition: this will be the final dispensation of this beast with seven heads, that is a metaphor for satan.)

by counting the letter values of the Greek transliteration;

In antiquity the mountain was not only a metaphor for a kingdom, but it was also symbolic of the head of a (river) dragon that was symbolic of a river that flows out from a mountain, after the spring thaw and overflowing its banks, spreading out in the form of the dragon's tail.
The color is scarlet because it is symbolic of the blood of the saints of the Lord.
A woman in prophecy is always a metaphor for a church, in this case (Jezebel) it is the fallen temple of God.
The false prophet, a lamb (Christ like) with two horns, and/but will speak like a dragon (a wolf in sheep's clothing), will be the beast (from out of the earth ... the USA) that will make an image unto the first beast from out of the sea, who received a deadly wound and his deadly wound was healed.
The two horns are a metaphor for two (equal) kingdoms in one, church and state craft.
Medo-Persia also is expressed as having two horns [Dan 8:3], but one was higher, (Persia) and eventually usurps the other.
This is the image of the first beast from out of the sea (Papal Rome). Once the wall of separation of church and state is lost, then will the second beast from out of the earth become the image of the first beast, who claims the authority of both church and state.

Base on the context it is clear that they only speak in the new language (, tongues) when it was needed, so while the bible did not say so, itis clear that it was used when it was necessary, the high Priest said Jesus do some miracles, did Jesus do it , or to turned stone to bread , matt 4, matt ,26,v.68, n Luke 23 v5-10 so the gift of God is not for playing or boasting , neither for drama , comedy, 1 Cor 10 v1-5 number 11 look for the words play. , the should only be used to glorify God winning souls for his kingdom , not to be played with, have to leave for work now c u again on this topic

None of you are interpreting these books correctly and you may want to be careful spreading lies because there are warnings in both Daniel and Revelations about exalting oneself to establish the vision in Daniel as well as adding to Revelation

My question would be... why do christians take characteristics of satan and impose them on God and then worship that idea of God. Like burning people forever? How could any christian even imagine that burning people is love? If that is the case, then God will commit the very last sin while claiming he put sin and death to rest forever. Makes no sense AT ALL.

I may be wrong but I believe the term Rome refers to the Papal power whether it was centered in Rome or Constantinople or whether it was ruled by 1 or more Pope's. It's the same power that lifts itself above God and speaks pompous words. PRAY AND STUDY AGAIN
Roman Kingdom is represented by "2 legs" in Daniel 2 image, which are directly "the Eastern Rome", and "the Western Rome".
There’s no proof that Elijah and Enoch are in heaven . The scripture says “it’s appointed for man once to die “. Jesus was not excluded from this. Therefore according to the scriptures no man other than Jesus is in heaven.

Here's an amazing fact for you Doug -
The Papacy did not overthrow the Horns/kingdoms in 538 AD. - that was Justinian, Ruler of the Eastern Roman Empire an Empire that you have failed to mention in your presentation.
The Papacy was too weak to do a thing at that time. In fact, the War against the Ostrogoths pretty much wiped out 90% of the city of Rome and it was still captured a few times by the Ostrogoths after 538 AD.
All this was done by Constantinople - not Rome.
Historically the Pope of Rome had no political/secular power until Peppin the Short fought the Lombards and then gave the papal states to Rome in 756.
If you are going to go off of Ecclesiastical power, you need to start earlier when it was Pope Innocent I in 401 who was seen as the first arbitrator of ecclesiastical disputes in both the East and the West of the Empire. But even then, they did not have total control or power as there were other centres of Christianity with their own leaders (Antioch, Alexandria).
The Pope still did not have complete control of Western Europe until the High Middle Ages - something you have conveniently left out and which most Adventists do not know is the capture of Pope Leo IX in 1053 AD by the Normans another significant people group in Europe not mentioned as a 'Horn'. Something not mentioned either is the Great Schism from 1378 - 1417 where at one stage 3 popes ruled in Europe and each declared the other the anti-Christ.
You need 538 AD to get to 1844 - this is why you and SDA's try to fit history around/ignore certain aspects to 'prove' that your interpretation is correct and ultimately to prove that your prophet Ellen is also correct with 1844 and the IJ.
The whole SDA system has been built up around this false historical narrative which is presented dishonestly to the masses.
Your extra facts do not change the narrative of history.
Your lack of a basic understanding of the Judgement, history, and Scripture is the only ''amazing fact'' in your comment.
History lesson:
The year was 538 A.D. and the Emperor of Rome was Justinain, and the General of his army was Belsarius, who was fighting the Ostrogoths, one of the ten remnant kingdoms after 476 A.D. at the gates of Rome.
The Bishop of Rome was Silvanus, who was said to be a man of God, but he refused to open the gates to either army.
Then the queen, who was said to be a devoted Christain, was petitioned by Justinain and Belsarius to persuade the bishop to open the city gates, which he did, but he was unaware of the plan that Justinain and his General made previously to arrest him and replace him with one who was more like them.
History tells that they did just that, and also placed upon bishop Vigilius the Roman emperor's sceptre and the title of Pontifex Maximus, which they all claimed from emperor Constantine.
This is the account of the revealing of the son of perdition, and birth of the Little Horn antichrist power.
The Ostrogoths, the Heruli, and the Vandals, where all exterminated.
This 'little' horn is the same beast that came up from out of the sea, and the woman (Jezebel) who rides the seven headed beast in the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
She would be diverse from all others in that she claimed the power of both church and state for one thousand, two hundred and threescore years.
She also persecuted the saints of Christ during that time we know of today, as the dark ages.
It took another emperor in Napoleon, and another General, to take back the temporal sword, that Justinain had bestowed on her in 538 A.D.
Exactly one thousand, two hundred and threescore years later in 1798 A.D. which is the same as a time, and a times, and the dividing of time (a half of time), which is the same as 42 months. Seven times in the book of Daniel and the book of Revelation are we given this prophecy of the time of the Little Horn.
God does not want us to get this wrong, for if we don't know who the antichrist beast is, then we will except his mark of authority.
This is when the beast was put into captivity, and prophecy tells us that this wound will be healed, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go into perdition, after the deadly wound is healed.
The prophecies do not say it was the little horn that overthrew those 3 Aryan nations. Just that they were uprooted "before" him. Once the last of the 3 was overthrown there were no other nations that opposed Papal supremacy at that time. So, yes 538AD marks the beginning of it's political power.
"You need 538 AD to get to 1844" - How do you figure that? Nothing in Dan 7 points to 1844. That's a completely different vision/prophecy..... Mixing the two is promoting confusion on what the prophecies are saying. But, as a follower of Jesuitism (is that a word? or maybe you are Jesuit yourself), you are probably used to distorting what the bible says in favor of "Papa's" teachings. This means you actually KNOW the truth but will deliberately attempt to twist it into lies in favor of Catholicism.
Why must you grasp at unbiblical straws to try and discredit what the bible teaches? Worse, you are endorsing Jesuit teachings on the subject, writings from the late 1500s to early 1600s.
They cannot even interpret simple scriptures so it is impossible to me that they have exalted themselves to establish the vision of Daniel but cannot even interpret Jonah which is only 5 chapters and misinterpret Deuteronomy 18 nonstop. They also think Jesus is Michael and have commanded people not to eat meat which is warned about in 1 Timothy 4:3.
They are the people of Isaiah 28-29 just like every other church on earth.
The devil joined the church in 538AD.
Your 1,260 day theory is absolutely false. The two witnesses will come in the power similar to Elijah. Unless these men at your date setting had the power to open and shut the heavens and issue plagues as they willed it in the end days then your theory is false. You are lacking the Spirit of the scriptures and using history of men to interpret the scriptures which haven’t even come to pass yet.

Perhaps you should put aside your indoctrinated books and read what the bible says about it. It is clear in bible prophecy when a timeline is mentioned it used a symbolic day as a literal year of time.

In Gods multiple allegorious verses, the witness' mean the ten commandments in two parts just as much as the two living beings that were translated into heaven.
