Building Tribal Earth Lodge

Two AFSC youth work camps in 1959 and 1963 helped tribal members of the MHA Nation construct a couple of traditional "earth lodges" by the shore of Lake Sakakawea next to the Four Bears Bridge in New Town, North Dakota on the Fort Berthold Reservation.
