I literally paused the video at that same moment and thought, "hmm, do i want to learn this?"
I said "12 phases!?" out loud to myself and didn't absorb the next minute of the video. Is there such a thing as a game editor? I feel like game makers need one sometimes

I've always wanted to play this one. It looks so intimidating, but sounds interesting as well.
For some reason he feels so wholesome to me, not just watching back at his skits but also watching him try things now. Though it may not be all that popular I find it fun. Don’t give up on what you love

Seems like a fun game that would be hard to get people to play. Personally I really like these board games that look sort of complex but have a good pay off.
I would like to play it with friends but they aren't the type who would want to try
@@OhSoTiredMan maybe there are some communities is your area? Once quarantine is over just ask around you'll find someone. I know alot of people say that that's stupid, asking around for people to play boardgames but it you do really want to play what other option do you have?

I LOVE this game, but mannnn is it a chore to get people to play with you. It's overwhelming to just introduce to people because of how much there is to this game.
EDIT: I love how you simplified the explanation of how this game plays though! I'm definitely going to use that to ensure people it's worth their time to play :)
When I played this, it took the person introducing me (albeit a very slow teacher) 1.5 hours to explain the rules

I feel you my guy. When I finally convince people, they ways have fun bc I k ow the game for them, but it is SO hard to get people to actually play with you.

Damn I played this once with myself and then once with some friends who have played Caverna before. Tbh it was a little overwhelming and in the end I didn’t feel that satisfied with the play through, but your words have encouraged me to try again.... now I just need to find someone who would want to play...

Without a doubt you MUST review dice throne. It is without a doubt the best. Boardgame I have ever played. If you play magic (which I do) you will love dice throne.

One of my favorite games. It looks overwhelming but it isn't once you break it down.
For this game I think it would’ve helped if he had included a round of him playing with others
This is one of my favorite games of all time. If the board intimidates you with its 61 action spaces, my tip is don't think of it as 61 different actions, think of it as only 14 or so actions with 3 or 4 ways of doing each action.

The expansion actually fixes a lot of the problems with this game, including problems you may not realize the game has - it gives you options to turn occupation cards into straight points if their bonus doesn't work out for you, makes animals much more viable, and really tightens up the game for fewer players which has the knock on effect of making some overpowered strategies at lower player counts not anymore. It transforms a good game into my single favorite board game, and I highly recommend it even if you haven't mastered with or are bored with the base game, unlike most expansion.
Ok so I love games like this and the way he explained it is simple but one thing I have to understand more is the cards but this video makes me want this game

I have a bit of a love/hate with worker placement games as they often don't give you a lot of opportunities to interact with other players. Nothing in this review seemed to indicate how you'd be engaged in multiplayer at all. Only a few worker placement games--like Tzolkin--make me feel like I'm not just kinda doing my own thing in a corner to hope to minmax points.
