Not everywhere, in Ukraine where we have family 25th December was just an ordinary day and they celebrated Christmas on the 12th of January. But they don’t have presents them like we do, except what we send. They do presents for new year. But they recently decided that Ukraine would align with the rest of Europe, not their terrible neighbour and celebrate Christmas on the 25th December 😁 🌲
@ I heard Ukraine was considering to change to Dec from Jan. now It changed it finally. Yes I heard some East Europe celebrate 24 Dec dinner more bigger or celebrate in Jan. In Korea we have 25 Dec as National holiday but also Buddha’s birthday too around in May. Always have more holidays are better. 😆 I hope all in peace no matter who you are or where you are.

@ in the early 90s when 🇺🇦family visited over Christmas I wouldn’t have even considered that they’d begin celebrating in the same day as us
