Impressive. Can i use any type of hard wax on my windshield or door windows? I use tgis hard wax on my car surface only
How long does this last on a windshield
Would doing this once a month get me covered?
Great content! Unfortunately this product is not sold where I live. Do you know if a different brand of wax or polish will work the same or not? Can you recommend one please? Thank you!
How long does it last. I hate rain x because in 2 months it streaks and needs reapllied
Usually a few months for me. But it never streaks. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe
@@BillOfAllTrades2016 Thanks. I orders it already. If it lasts a couple months that's great. I hate when oncoming headlights start looking like plus signs.
No problem. Make sure to clean your wipers really well. No sense in polishing a windshield if dirty wipers will be wiping it.
Just use a sliced potato and rub it into your windshield - apparently does the same trick.
No thanks. I’ll use the polish that’s manufactured to work on cars. You can rub food on your car if you want though.
Is it fair if my windshield does the same trick even though I don't use nothing on it? Just normal car wash 1x in 2 month?
Ya that’s cool. Because you get so many car washes your windshield is super clean if it has the same effect. I only car wash once or twice a year. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe
I got Nu finish but is in a cream form not hard paste wonder if is the same thank u
The cream is very similar and will have the same result as this paste. Glad you found the video. Please like and subscribe
@@BillOfAllTrades2016 yes thank u rains a lot where I live and brand new wiper blades are not enough sometimes
Can you use other material than a chamwah. And other wax I have so many different kinds.
Most wax is only meant for the body of the car. If applied to the glass, it my streak or haze up after a while. That’s why my finish is better. It buffs up with no future streaking or hazing. As for the chamois, you can use a regular cloth, but I have best results with the chamois because it’s leather like texture grips the surface and pulls the contamination off better. Hope this helps. Never ever put wax polish near your windscreen if you put the wipers on you'll see sweet f a
Timothy Crowley This polish is safe to use on a windshield. I’ve been using this for 3 years in a row now. No issues. It does not cause streaking or smearing. Thanks for looking out though. Please like and subscribe
@@BillOfAllTrades2016 That's not what I asked. Can you use other polish as well?
I’ve only used NuFinish so I can only speak to the results of the specific product in my video.
Cool, no more separate purchase of those RainX anti-water on windshield. This'll be great for telescopes too.
God bless.
Never use Rain-X on a telescope! It can damage the anti-reflective coating.
There's a liquid for this that's sold at car part stores. It's far far far easier application, far less elbow work and works much better than this since the liquid is hydrophobic.
Thanks for the tip. Care to elaborate what this liquid is, or you wanna keep it as a trade secret?😂
Lovely. Just a hint that it’s pronounced SHAM-ee.
The technical name is chamois as I pronounced it due to the fact it’s made from chamois leather. The “shammy cloth” you are thinking of is a cheap imitation cloth. Thanks for watching.
@@BillOfAllTrades2016 thanks for the speedy and detailed reply. I will definitely subscribe, but from a different account name.
You and I are talking about the same thing. Sorry I wasn’t clear. I could tell by the irregular shape of the animal hide that you’re using a genuine chamois. It’s pronounced SHAMMy. Honest! Look it up.
Google “Does Rainx contain baking soda” No!
Ok that’s cool. Thanks for sharing… not sure how baking soda applies to this video… hmmmm
How can i buy & get this product ?? if you tell me about this then i will subscribe your channel 😂😂remember
