This hotel is a perfect example of don’t judge a book by its cover, yeah some parts of it are run down, the elevator has some issues and the outside looks a bit dated, but the rooms look fantastic.
I guess that if it’s falling apart like that it’s probably due to be modernized but as long as it runs fine. Though I will say I feel like it probably will be modernized just like the elevators at Busch Stadium garage
ThyssenKrupp will do the mod; those rare chimes need to stay when they do it. Some of those elevator parts (not the COP) need to be saved and put in the elevaTOURS international elevator museum; what can go in there from that hotel are the lanterns and call stations. There is already is a Dover Impulse COP that came from a Best Western there.
Uh, is it just me? Or does Andrew seem to gravitate towards the beds that have, at least, one hair on them? Still, for $50 in the DFW area, it's a steal.
@MJM Reviews It originally was a Hampton Inn back when they had exterior corridors. It probably closed in the 2000s and was rebranded as a Quality Inn.
Low pitched buzz! That’s even more epic for a quality elevator!
It was interesting

Same with the super 8 in Nashville
As we all say. Give this dover some love. Apart from how it runs.
It ran fantastic.
it did
My band is based in Fort Worth, I'm there all the time! Love it there, and the little music scene!
Awesome 👏
Nice. I always enjoy watching your hotel tours. I also enjoy watching your autism outreach videos.
Thanks so much!!
You should ride the elevator at the cables store there
I wasn’t there very long
@@DieselDucy ok
This is a old Hampton inn I can tell because at 3:04 there is a clock with the Hampton inn brand on it
It also has the architecture as a 1st gen Hampton inn
do the hotel tour of the comfort inn burkville va
I don’t know if I will get back out there
Great hotel tour! Considering the price you paid, it actually seems like a nice room.
Yeah it was not bad.
I’m an elevator fan too so I’m with y’all
Awesome!
That elevator needs some TLC. The floor indicator isn’t working and the Dover plate is missing. But it runs well despite those issues.
It runs great

@@mariokart8715 that’s not a bad idea
This place seems to be very well cared for.
it was decent.
yeah
Was this hotel building vandalized before it was renovated into a Quality Inn? They forgot to modernize the elevator at the same time.
I’m not sure
Can you walk into the hotel still get that discount or can you only get that discount online?
I think it was online.
This is a quality hotel.

@@DieselDucy with a quality Dover elevator

@@DieselDucy no worries!
What happened to the indicator?
Vandalism.
Standard rooms and two-room flex suites.
We had two beds
This is a decent looking hotel
For what we paid it was great
Rare chimes?
Yes
Was there plenty of towels?
Yep
I really like this hotel
Me too
Looks like you booked a room to check how bad the room was. But they disappointed you.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
lol .
Oh geez listen to that Dover buzz
It is wonderful lol.

Did they have a Hampton alarm clock?
They did not
This is an old Hampton inn.
Probably built sometime in the 80s.
@MJM Reviews It originally was a Hampton Inn back when they had exterior corridors.

Looks VERY nice. The exterior is purely functional and perhaps looks a little rough around the edges, but that's fine.
I've never been to a Quality Inn, only Motel 6
Quality is a little above a motel 6 but not much.
They have Bucees in Fort Worth
They don
The hotel room is got a microwave a fridge with a freezer and a coffee station
Oh god that Dover is suffering.
Still runs great though.
Fort Worth, Texas
Yep :)
Has gluse been to this hotel?
maybe
I've got some very bad news...about something I forgot to tell you that happened in Augest, 2017
