I totally agree with you mamamoo should be as popular as Blackpink (worldwide) bcz in korea they are really really much popular (even than Blackpink I guess) and the reason behind the popularity of bp is bcz they debuted in the most famous company of Korea and the company made them debut as second 2nei (Most popular girl group before Blackpink) But mamamoo and BTS came from a small company and both did struggle for 8 years (also add the trainee years their first MV is 8 years old they also struggled as trainees ) I m not hating bp but just imagine if they weren't from YG and they didn't debut as 2nd 2nei they wouldn't be as successful as they are today Also one of the reason is mamamoo dosen't promote in west unlike bp Bp sing English songs which make people attract towards them and unlike bp mamamoo is not having any English speakers 🙂

Mamamoo and BTS were at the bottom and were in small companies but made their way up to the top with talent and humbleness. Let me tell y’all this-being humble is one of the greatest characteristics and even after winning so many awards they stayed humble-both Mamamoo and BTS. They’re friends too, especially Jin and Moonbyul are close friends. They have funny and cute interactions, I don’t ship them romantically but as siblings or friends that’s known each other for a long time. Both of the groups have different concepts from other kpop artists, no hate to any kpop artists it’s simply my opinion. I mean everyone has different taste in different things. Their visuals are so top tier and music concepts unique like no other. Their voices are heavenly. I really love Solar’s voice when she sings and I love Moonbyul’s charisma ESPECIALLY Hwasa. I love how innocent and charming Wheein looks when she had short hair but she still does. They’re very friendly and respectful to BTS and other artists. Y’all remember mama 2018 BTS performance? Mamamoo literally gave a standing ovation and clapped hands more than any statues there. I said it. 😩👌❤️ Mamamoo just somehow gives me the vibes of 2ne1, my first kpop group I found about, and I don’t know why but their charisma and everything is to die for. And BTS are insanely humble despite being in the top and are very caring for their fans ARMIES. BTS is that one group that always supports each other throughout tough times and would always hug each other in tears when winning something they never expected to be winning and they deserved the awards. this makes me wish for a “Most humble group/artist of the year.” BTS/Mamamoo would win it every year they get the opportunity to. I love them both! And my ultimate bias from Mamamoo and BTS is Hwasa because of her killing presence and charisma and Jimin because his godly presence and two faced personality off stage and on stage, they both Have charismas but are total dorks off stage. Both of the groups have different concepts from other kpop artists, no hate to any kpop artists it’s simply my opinion. I mean everyone has different taste in different things. Their visuals are so top tier and music concepts unique like no other. Their voices are heavenly. I really love Solar’s voice when she sings and I love Moonbyul’s charisma ESPECIALLY Hwasa. I love how innocent and charming Wheein looks when she had short hair but she still does. They’re very friendly and respectful to BTS and other artists.
Y’all remember mama 2018 BTS performance? Mamamoo literally gave a standing ovation and clapped hands more than any statues there. I said it. 😩👌❤️
Mamamoo just somehow gives me the vibes of 2ne1, my first kpop group I found about, and I don’t know why but their charisma and everything is to die for.
And BTS are insanely humble despite being in the top and are very caring for their fans ARMIES. BTS is that one group that always supports each other throughout tough times and would always hug each other in tears when winning something they never expected to be winning and they deserved the awards.
this makes me wish for a “Most humble group/artist of the year.”
BTS/Mamamoo would win it every year they get the opportunity to.
I love them both! And my ultimate bias from Mamamoo and BTS is Hwasa because of her killing presence and charisma and Jimin because his godly presence and two faced personality off stage and on stage, they both Have charismas but are total dorks off stage.
