    Yeah my low string can't handle big hits either, I talked to my doctor and he said its a totally normal thing. But you can get a prescription if you are really worried about it.

    Ernie Ball makes a "Mammoth Slinky" set which is 12-62, might check those out.

    Find a company that will build you a custom gauge set. Just go with a bigger gauge on the 6th and 5th

    Have you filed the nut to handle heavier string. Or bought one made for heavier strings

    What amp type are you using to get your sound. What pedals are you using. The heavy strings help but it's not all of your sound
