Salvation is a gift from God that you receive by believing what Jesus Christ did for you. That's why it's not of works. He did the work. If you have to do something to get rid of sin, you're telling God that Jesus Christ didn't quite do it all and you're sure thankful for the part that Christ played in it, but now you're going to do your share. Well, you can't do your share.
Gary Smith Sanctifying Grace is necessary for salvation. Works, especially good works, are necessary. You sure can’t obtain heaven by doing BAD works. The good works come as a result of the sanctifying grace. Without it your good works are worthless.

It's been a bit of a desert wandering for me.... waiting on the Lord brought me to this much loved reminder that Jesus does still love me. He loves you as well dear friend... whoever you are.... turn your heart to Christ.

these songs are the kind that will make you happy, cry, and have chills down the back. I just love it! 1st heard him at the end of a tape someone gave me. it was the truth will set you free. I was really enjoying the song and the tape ran out in the middle of the song. i listened to half of the song a lot of times. lol
