A deep dive into my super stack passing system. One of my favorite guard passes. As simple as the stack pass may seem there are a lot of working parts and details worth exploring. Enjoy!
Love this breakdown. Stack passing is one of the first passes I learned as a white belt and it’s now my go to move. Watching this breakdown shows me I can improve the knee in the back positioning to keep it locked in. Thank you! Against higher belts I sometimes catch myself in the arm in triangle (opponent’s arm). Is there a way to prevent this?
Good stuff. While stacking do you apply any pressure to the opponent's perineum with your mental protuberance? AKA chin to choad? It would seem likely that sufficient pressure applied this way would get the opponent to tap, or maybe squirt.
Coach, after you dug your hand under the leg over, you seem to have briefly attempted a cross grip pass. Was that part of the stack routine or did you try cross grip pass and move back to stack?
Andris, Thanks for posting! These breakdowns are great. Please keep them going!
Love the details bro
These breakdown videos are fucking great. Really detailed explanations going into not just mechanics but also into the rationale of each move.

awesome thanks! I liked that lapel o plata. Going through the Lapel Encyclopedia and ironically am on that right now.
That's what I was doing wrong, the chin in the butthole is where I was making a mistake. Lol
Hahaah that part got me too. "I have my chin uncomfortably close to his butthole."
When you you get the cross grip why do you want thumb in?
Is that Rodolfo as referee?
