Your exhaust is quite close to the fresh air intake (which gets blown into your house) - and you’re heating cold air from outside which is much less efficient than recirculating air from the room through the heater. They are designed to be installed inside with the exhaust going to the outside (which also makes the electricity side of things easier).
I would want the exhaust to be further away from the air intake, last think you want is any diesel particulates going inside the home, my Dyson air purifier would go crazy
Nice setup you have. One thing I'm sure you are aware of is the need for the heater to cycle down afterwards.......it would be very advisable to have a battery backup for that stepdown transformer cos if there's a power cut during operation the unit will overheat and destroy itself.
I been running one of these for 14 months now,,, 10 hrs a day usually,, it's triclicks brand from amazon, never had a single problem with it, I run it at setting 5 out of 10, so midway, 5 ltrs of kerosene lasts around 2 days, 59p a ltr, fantastic
I have a similar setup and its working like a charm saving some money on heating. I am unable to find red diesel or kerosene in my area to buy smaller quantity. That is the only concern 😥
thats great, i find i can get kerosene the cheapest and it smells less. try farm shops, tool hire shops or some good hardware shops. the cost of the fuel plays an important part in saving money. did you see my other heater videos: www.youtube.com/@andyfireblade let me know what you think cheers andy
Hi Andy …I’m going to order my diesel heater and a 240v converter….just wondering if you have any links to a better fuel line ? Seen a lot of people saying the standard green one isnt very good ..ps..thanks for the videos ..keep them up 👍
thanks mate, i use the standard and haven't had any trouble, for a few years. maybe they are in extreme conditions or really long term? dont worry, cheers andy
Why do you not have an air inlet hole on your box? Surely your heater is struggling to breathe unless you’re exhaust hole on the bottom is large enough to do both
thanks for the comment, yes the hole at the bottom is allowing air in. did you see my other heater videos: www.youtube.com/@andyfireblade let me know what you think cheers andy
I got about 70 litres for £45 the other day.. I think its 64p a litre or there abouts.. rare to get it off the pump, but it is possible if you look around.. You can get 5L bottles, but those are a similar cost to diesel.. 😊
i have one in the garage and one in the shed, did you see my other heater videos: www.youtube.com/@andyfireblade let me know what you think cheers andy
hello chris, i did a video on how much it used. i though they weren't too bad. did you see my other heater videos: www.youtube.com/@andyfireblade let me know what you think
I'm so thankful to live in East Texas where natural gas is cheap and plentiful.

Nice setup. I crudely set mine up to heat the living room during a power cut after storm Bert. It worked well.
Good stuff!

I wonder if these would run on JetA1 fuel? That’s cheap as chips at my local airfield.
they seem to run on everything else....
Hi Andy. Where did you get the plastic box enclosing the heater on the outside wall?
it was a garden storage box that i cut in half.

Hi Andy. Curious how much Kerosene is in UK / litr. Cheers
90p cheers andy

Ok. Cheers. I guess that's why you run that and not Diesel. Here in Ontario our Diesel is $1.35 and Kerosene is especially pricey at $2.60 a litr.
They are OK but my m8 has one in his work shop 😂😂
