I have several dremels, and I use the lite at least five times a day. I love it. I really like that. It has slower speed than the standard dremels. There’s certain materials I simply can’t work with because the base speed of regular dremel are still too fast. This is a hidden secret in my field really, and opened up a lot of time saving for me. It’s definitely worth having. I do know that if you were trying to do some serious sanding with it, it will heat up pretty fast and you might get a half hour out of it but for start stop stuff wire, brush, cleaning and grinding, etc., it’s yet to die on me. But I’m pretty good at charging it after I feel like I’ve used it for 20 or 30 minutes worth but it’s not hard to plug it in. I’m still on my cord a Dremel that I bought 25 years ago with no issues but now I’m gonna go by the newest cordless one. I find myself going to them a lot more often than not having to get an extension cord or just plugging it in and wrapping up the cord. It seems so silly but it’s those little things that make you go to something faster because of convenience. Edit: sorry for typos, and how long is is? I used voice texting and it always ends up being a book lol.
"increments of ...an amount " got me good hahah, thanks for the vid, I think it's plenty powerful for what I need
Fantastic review. You covered exactly what I needed to know. Thanks!!!
Spot on, with your charging dock suggestion...I agree 100%!
I just picked up this little thing and so far it's handy. Should serve my purpose well.
I think this is perfect for beginners like myself, thank you for the video. I just ordered and I’ll have it in 4 days 😼
Well, that's my birthday present sorted! Great idea about a charging dock, too.
Thanks for sharing 🙂
I have a 10 year old Dremel Minimite cordless and I use it to sharpen my lawn mower blades. These little things work wonders.
i have a 11 yo dremel 300 it still runs great except the rubber has gotten so soft i can dig into it with my finger nail.
just bought one. very handy review. thanks
Great review as always👍
I ordered this exact Dremel for renovating a rusty bike and for small jobs and crafts (for 58,39 euro you can't go wrong). It will fit nicely next to my bosch cordless handdrill (which is also small). Can't wait to test it out.
Damn, you got a deal!
Thanks for your review. I bought this to do my dogs nails but I’m excited to try engraving and wood carving with it too.
Hey, how does it work on your dogs nails? I'm looking at this for my German shepherds nails
@@miao7002 there is an attachment for this and it fits on Dremel Lite
@@TheMrRafaelB thank you!
We needed one while 4 hours from home for an emergency bearing replacement. It got about 45 minutes of charge and sliced through that old outer bearing race like butter.
Excellent review! I have the plug in 200 series myself and it works great for customizing lock picks and tension wrenches as needed. Been looking for a simple cordless one that's not too expensive and would get the job done! This little guy might be the one! Thanks!
100% this will be able to trim down picks and wrenches.
I just got one 👌🏻
I watched your videos in cbt and beginner riders and passed my cbt today thank you For the help
Awesome! Congratulations 😃
I keep getting interrupted when I try and watch your vids. I need my family to leave me alone for half an hour. I need my spicy time😂😂😂
I once said to my mum I need my spicy time and she thought I was going to be doing something rude to myself. 😂😂😂
Hmm, you wrote the second massage here after eight months but why are you here again on this video
@@user-fo2vr5qz2l I watch some spicy vids more than once. Hes just so damn good.
@@maycrotch8576 ok got it, by the way some people say if to rewatch the fight dustin vs conor 2 maybe conor will win))
@@user-fo2vr5qz2l I'll have to watch it.😆
You can use it with just the cord even if the battery is dead but it doesn’t charge simultaneously
That’s cool
I use a cellphone dock that works well
Nice. Thanks.
Was just using mine fully charged to cut a 1/2 round peace of metal..it stopped it..acted like it was died now wont fully charge..charges for 20 mins then light goes off and it's not even charged? Any ideas?
Can a cutter be used on this Dremel also small dia drills mainly for jewelry work
What type of steel Did you engraved? I need a Dremel that can open up small holes but that can cut through stainless steel
Thanks for your Lovely review...I have 220 volt Power outlet...Can I charge it through my laptop?
I meant to ask are there cutters and drill bits to fit this 7760-N/10 model
can it be used while plugged in a usb powerbank?
Where I can order the sandug drum? The two metal rings got dislodge from the sandind durm, I could not assimble it again.
I just bought one today and USB-C modded it because i dont want a million charger cords to keep track of.
so i have the only dremel lite in the world that has USB-C charging.
I'll USB-C mod anything.
What’s that blue attachment you used? Can you pls give me the part number so I can purchase it. I do a lot of small sanding
I want to engrave stainless steel using this machine (7760) but I was told that the bit that comes with it doesn’t work very well.
They said I should get the “Tungsten Carbide Cutters“ or the Diamond cutter fro
dermel.
I just don’t know which to get and which one would fit the 7760. Any help?
As it has a chuck you can use a wide range if bits, I would get a dremel chuck for it and then just order bits that fit that chuck. If you really want to cut in to the stainless I would get a carbide cutter / die grinder bit. The diamond bits will just scratch and grind and won't remove much. You might even find both would be hand to have.
Too bad they don’t make the Dremel Stylus anymore. It was a pistol grip small cordless which had amazing control. Mine is over ten years old and still works fine and I've used it from everything to working on guns, installing door locks, and Arduino projects but it can’t last forever so this looks like the best replacement for it. Just make sure you let the battery cool down before you charge it and it should last.
Is it powerful enough to use cutting disks? I rarely have to cut but if i do its usually like a nail or stripped screw head.
The odd one yes it will but it takes a lot longer than a corded one as it hasn't got as much torque in comparison. But for the really hard to get to bolts it's amazing even if it takes a while.
Nice.
Just bought mine
So is there a way to safely change the blades? Usually if its cordered, you unplug it before you put on the blades, or if it is cordless, you can remove the battery. But it seems the battery is not removable. So it can accidentally come on while you are changing the blade wheel, right?
There is a lock that prevents it from moving
"Dock" my only suggestion as well!
Try making a charging dock using the dremel & post the process. Just a thought.
Would it be good for minor to medium polishing and buffing scratches on stainless steel?
Just use steel wool "0000" for that.
How much charge is enough?
Would you say this would be good for polishing some slighty older atv, dirtbike engines ??
Very small parts yes as the tool size isn't too big. Corded would be better.
Thank you for video. Do you have a runtime on full charge thru you using it?
As I mention in the video as that is completely depended on what you are doing I really can't say but 45mins-1hr maybe.
spicy110 thank you for reply sorry for asking I didn’t see anything printed on screen. Recently lost hearing. Thank you again for reply.
Arrr ok no problem. Happy to help.
Hi! Can you cut through thick wood with this? A wooden door for example.
Not the tool for the job, this is very much for crafts and small jobs.
I use this one to do my opals
I was thinking about getting one of these for some mild cylinder head port polishing but I guess charging this thing would get really old really fast. Shame if it had replaceable 18650s I would have bought it in an instant, I got like 20 high current draw 18650s laying around. Oh well.
I would say go corded for something like that anyway, but yer would be cool of you could easily change the batt out.
Can you use it on smaller pieces of glass, rock and concrete, or is the motor too weak?
That depends on what you want to do to those things. You can use it on anything but the scale of the job could only answer that.
@@spicy110 okay, yeah, my question was more like, if I try to use it on rock, is the motor so strong that I can do that without damaging the machine in some way, and if it doesn’t damage the machine, will it be able to make a dent in the rock or will it just slide around uselessly on the surface. But from what I gather from your response, it seems like it should be possible.
cutting stone - small rocks ???
Greeting mr. Spicy110 & everybody.
Could any of you please kindly explain this to me? After watching this cool video i read in an online article & also in Dremel's official site that this 7760 lite in particular is compatible with all the accessories/ attachment Dremel produces for its rotary series of product.
Now, sometime ago i found in an online shop here in Indonesia just what i need, namely a set of Dremel drill bits in an assortment of sizes. In its info area it is stated that the smallest sized drill bit requires us to initially attach a "multi-chuck for 4486" chuck/collet to our rotary equipment to accomodate it.
In the info area of that "multi-chuk for 4486" chuck/collet i found a list of all Dremel's rotary products it claimed to be compatible with... with the 7760 to be nowhere in sight.
Would it be safe for me to consider the 7760 to be compatible with that particular chuck/collet as well?
Thank you very much🙏🏻
The little metal part in the collet doesn’t open up for ne
Do other Dremel attachments work with this one ☝️? Thanks
yep all the standard dremel attachments fit
Will this cut through the metal of a disc lock
might take a while and a few little cutting disks but yes it could do it.
is it brushless motor? or brushed ?
Brushed as far and I know and can see.
would this work to drill into crystals?
If you bit you use can cuts them, then yes. It's spins way faster than you need for grinding.
Can you use this to cut hard plastic
Yes it will have the power but if its a lot of cutting a mains powered one would be better
@@spicy110 Thank you so much, and i was trying to cut through a storage bin so I'm not sure if that would be considered a lot
What is dremel official website

Those stickers are awesome! Can you make me some that say JennieRedRose ?
Sadly not myself my sticker people make them, but if you find people who make "cut vinyl stickers" near you they can make them. 🙂👍

Where is Tipe-C fast charger? 2.5 hours chargering time? Realy?!
When this tool was made usb c was not in everything. As it is a built in batt I would not want fast charging myself so it lasts a lot longer.
@@spicy110 First of all thanks for the reply. I love Dremel, I have three models. The last one is a Dremel 4000 in a plastic case with lots of attachments.
But! In Dremel 4000, the front bearing is very hot. It started right after purchase. And this is a massive problem. Dremel knows about it, but... they don't care.
Therefore, when I decided to buy a battery-powered device, I looked towards other manufacturers. I chose Worx WX106 and have not regretted it for a second. This device runs on 8 volts, is very convenient to use, is more compact than Dremel, has a charging time half that of Dremel and it is Type C.
After seeing your review, I ordered a second Worx WX106 for $56 including shipping. All nozzles from Dremel are suitable for Works (3.2 mm).
I think that Dremel has turned into a clumsy big company that is very slow to respond to the situation in the market, and also poorly listens to user feedback.
To be clear I am not defending anything I don't care what you buy. I was just answering the question you asked, with relevance to the time this video was made. It seems your issue is aimed at Dremel, I am not them. In fact I do not work with them after they wanted me to sign a contract regarding reviews. All my reviews are honest from my own experience. That's all I can add.
Did he just zoom past how to click the bit in??? lol the whole purpose of my watching the video...
