#CowboyBoots #Mexico #WesternWear - Навчання та стиль
People will spend more for the best quality Cowboy Boots they can purchase. People will toss out old shoes but people will resole and keep Cowboy Boots a lot longer. Purchasing Cowboy Boots are actually an investment. So purchase a pair you want to wear for many years.
100% agree!
I just searched eBay for "1940s cowboy boots" and it's fascinating what shows up. I'm satisfied with 1960s boots and leather is much thicker than current standards. Old 3 or 4 digit sizes printed inside the boots indicate 1960s and prior.
I've bought several of my boots directly from Leon Mexico, they are great quality boots. love them.
*This was so cool to see!! Please do more of these! Where you visit & get special insight look on how boots are made!! Love your channel regardless, keep up the great work!!*
I love your channel. I just love how informative it is.
at first I didn't like how you ended the videos with a song but it's actually starting to grow on me and now I look forward to it. 😊
very good information, informative and illustrative, thank you very much.
Great video, love videos of factories that make things I buy.
Fell in love with those on the last inspection
I found some sweet tobacco brown Mexican Alligator Cowboy boots with some cool tail fins on the back of the heel at Goodwill for $10. I'm getting them resoled now but with a dark green sole 🦖 they look pre-historic!
This is so awesome! I would love to see more videos like this again.
I can't wait to make another like it! Sometime soon hopefully
Very cool video, thanks for taking the time to do this.
No probs. It was fun! Thanks for watching
Awesome video 👌👏.You should make a video about the Latino (Mexican) and American market in boots I am sure that you notice that .It's the same with cow boy hats.
This is amazing. Thanksss
Glad you liked it!
Excellent boots.
Interesting behind the scenes. Do you know the Mexican boot brand Rancho? I think they fused with the Mezcalero now. They make really nice traditional boots, stacked leather heel and everything. I live in Germany and you can't really get that many good looking cowboy boots here. The only brand that is all over the place is Sendra from Spain. They make very high quality all hand crafted boots. They are, however, almost all terribly ugly. Rancho boots is also one of the more common brands in Europe, and I got a really nice pair of traditional brown cowboy boots which are pretty much a perfect fit. Still, I wish there was as big a market here as in the US. I bet I could spend hours in one of those boot stores you show in your videos. Great content!
I wish there were more places that sold boots in Europe too. Hopefully they become popular enough so people open up some stores over there! I've heard of Rancho but never tried any. I'll keep my eyes open for some.
I have 7 pairs of sendras they are beautiful boots if you don’t like pointy toes and Cuban heel but you can also get regular heels and they are not much different than mezcaleros however you spell it they make good boots I’ll tell you right now I pay about 600 us in Canada for a pair of sendras if you don’t like sendras you prob like a round toe or a square I think they are awesome I have all different brands 25 pair I have 1200 dollar libertys but my favorite are my sendras ther are what cowboy boots look like nice snip toe and the heels are beautiful so I don’t know what you like but you must be blind and ther are a ton of company’s in Spain they make some of the finest boots in the world
Hi my friend! I’m Mexican but I live in France, all my life I’ve worked with leather and the cowboy boot industry, I have my own brand now and have a factory back in Mexico! If you would like a pair of nice Mexican made boots, don’t hesitate in contact me.
Like this one. Quality stuff.
Awesome video and awesome boots!!
For real. I'm very interested in these boots coming out from YeeHaw Cowboy after seeing how they are made. I'm looking at the black cherry caiman tail snip toes. Beautiful!
I just bought two pairs of Dan post 2117 black boots. I bought them used with intentions of restoring. I hate breaking in the leather so I figured I’d buy preowned. Although I only wanted one pair, I realized my first purchase wasn’t exactly what I wanted.
Now that was cool to see, thank you
Awesome! I'm glad you liked it
I am just as excited as you are. If you haven't realized it yet you are a part of something big that Diaz has trusted you to be a part of. That is so freaking awesome.
Big shout-out from Houston Texas
I totally agree! This is an incredible thing to be a part of and I'm super grateful
I always buy my boots from Leon ! Boot nation!
At last the Song was epic .. i have also learned alot with the info provided by you JC 😎😎 ... MJ.
Awesome thanks!!
WOW, cool I'm a new fan of your chanel, greetings from Guadalajara, México.
Can you do a review on Stingray boots? I would love to see more exotic material reviews on boots. Especially stingrays
The whole process is great to me
Right?! It's nuts. There's so much going on
So stingray boots are the most durable?
They are a crazy tough leather but durability always depends on how you care for leather too. Elephant and ostrich is really durable too but I'm not sure what is the most durable. Will have to do some testing
It all depends on how you take care of your boots, the fact stingray is hard to cut doesnt make it more durable. In terms of abrasion and durability ostrich leather has the top on that. I apologize for my basic english. Greetings from a mexican boot and leather enthusiastic
@@alonzohernandez9179 hey brother as a mexican boot enthusiastic, which manufacturer in Leon do you think is the finest quality?I plan to make a trip there soon, gracias compa!
@@isaacayala2797 Its hard to say that, most recognized brands as "Cuadra" or "Montana" have very good looking boots but are expensive or have some manufacturing defects. You can find other manufacturers that can give you similar looking boots without selling you the "cuadra" name brand.
If you have a trip to Leon. My suggestion is going to "la plaza del zapato" and get some idea of the price range of what you are looking for. Then you can walk a pair of blocks down that street and see another boot shops that can help you to compare one brand vs another. You can also ask about the linings, the leather they use for shafts vamps, insoles, etc.
What an amazing opportunity! I really enjoyed that. Thanks for sharing!
Yeah it was a blast! Thanks for watching
It is pretty cool
What the worker actually answered was Manta Ray and not sting ray for the hardest leather. They might have similar skin, but they are different animals.
And I learned it from you, now! 😂
I love passing this stuff on! It's too much fun
I’m from Guanajuato bro 💯
Orrales compa✌
Which boot in your experience has the most comfortable insole right out of the box
Amazing how many nails are in each boot.
I like the stingray leather factoid the most. It's a good thing you went to Leon when you did considering how the World went sideways...
Truth. Tell me about it
I want those stingrays. 💵 💵 💵
Me too!!
Leon guanajuato and los altos boots totaly 100% RULES one of the top boots makers quality and better prices i know that for sure
I have a pair of 3x toe Los Altos Python boots. What a beauty they are... José is a cool guy.
Jose is cool and those 3x toes that Los Altos makes are nice! I like their look in ostrich. I don't have any 3x toe yet but maybe someday
@@JeremiahCraig yup, they look bomb. I have gotten at least 30 compliments, and I only got mine like 3 months ago! The only issue I found with mine was that the uppers don't seem that durable. I'm having José fix the piping on them. The leather also 'feels' a little less durable than my other pairs of say Dan Post, Cuadra, or Dos de Oros.
Having said that, they make the most GORGEOUS boots.
He was super nice about getting em in to fix em though.
This is the pair I own if you're curious yeehawcowboy.com/collections/mens-python-boots/products/mens-wild-west-python-3x-toe-boots-handcrafted-2955706
Hey Jeremiah found something interesting a 16 oz. Empty coke cola bottle works great in the foot of the boots to hold the shape of the foot. FORGOT TO TELL YOU PUT THE CAP BACK ON .Also 2 liter coke cola empty bottle works great for inside of the shaft.A 2 liter Pepsi works great for the shaft too.More round in shape Because. Pepsi doesn't work in toe it to big at 2o oz Just thought I would let you know.
Only thing though, truly good cowboy boots DO NOT use nails but wooden pegs instead. Turn your boot up, if you see wooden pegs. Its likely quality handmade
I'm cool when they use both nails and pegs. Especially if it makes for the right price point for folks.
Awesome to know about the hardness of stingray leather!!😲
Right!? It makes so much sense but I would have never guessed that
I wander If you take me also visiting Leon, where all beautiful cowboy boots are made 😂
That would be fun to just do a group trip down to Leon haha!
@@JeremiahCraig that would make my day brother hahaha
Jeremiah, have you acquired any stingray boots since then? I just ordered some shark skin boots, and now I'm thinking about stingray after seeing this. I wear them for work and want something that is super scuff resistant
I have not gotten any sting ray boots yet but I can wait to. Shark skin either. I'm jealous!
How do you like the shark skin boots?
@@Bloodstryke The shark skin itself I think is really sweet. I bought the Wild West brand from Yeehaw Cowboy; sizing is a bit different than I'm used to. These only come in EE which I think is a shame, would be awesome if I could get them in a standard width or maybe even narrow. I originally bought size 11 thinking that going a half size down from my dress shoe/chelsea boot size would workout. Nope, I ended up going all the way down to a 10EE, and the length is about as short as I'm willing to try, but the instep is high and the heel is extremely wide. Most of my boot experience comes from Dan Post in standard widths, to give some perspective.
Long story short, I'm still breaking them in but they are getting better. My heel still has a lot of slip and I don't think the instep will cure itself. I have a pair of insoles coming that I hope will make them the perfect budget exotic. Overall craftsmanship seems good for a sub $300 boot. On par with the other major brands in this price range.
My cousin works in that factory
fun tour, hope you didnt drink the water
I bought a pair of Yee Haaw Cowboy Boots and I guess that was the pair that slipped through the cracks. The caiman tail on one of the boots was nicely tucked in under the snip toe but the other was like unfinished and untucked. Sent them back and got my refund but José told me that he resold them a day or so later with defects and all. On to a sucker that maybe won’t notice. Smh 🤦🏻♂️ I was waiting for the boot to come back in stock but I don’t know anymore, so I just went and bought me some caiman Lucchese boots! Now thats quality and they’re perfect! 👍
Ouch! So many nails - I hope they never poke through the soles. Now I know why my boots set off the scanner/detector at airport security. I sometimes get complimentary TSA Precheck printed on my boarding pass and I'm not required to remove my footwear. Cowboy boots not exempted.
Not only they are masters at their trade... everyone speaks English. I dare any American cowboy to master both, language and boots.
Craig looks stoned.
These are not well made boots. These are quantity made, not quality
