The camera doesn't do it justice. It's waaaay steeper than it appears in the video. Moreover, those conditions are better than I have ever seen. Usually it is icy with a small cliff drop at the top.
Marshmallow. Yes, it's been a couple years since I've been up but typically at 1:26 you have a large raised block of ice that drops you down. They used to only blow snow on the top which made the initial drop much more severe. Those conditions looked like like a dream. Normally it's mostly ice till about 1:44 which is where all the snow piles up from people slowly scraping their way down the hill. The steep part is pretty short but its one of the more intense runs you can make. IF you start at 1:19 and gain speed rather than stop and drop into the steep part at 1:26 it's incredibly fast and challenging. Conditions have almost always been horrible when I've been on it so it's a very short, very steep and very tough course mostly because of the hard pack and ice till it levels out a little. Not sure how it's been the last couple years but don't expect the conditions you saw in this video which looked perfect.
tht doesn't do it justice. it's a lot steeper in person
O ok, I'm headed there this weekend. That's usually what happens with the vids. They never capture how steep the slope actually is
I have been skiing here scince I was one, the first time I went down gunberrel was when I was six
Is it steeper than it looks?
Comments4Fun! Paint yes these were great conditions. The slope is much steeper than shown in the video. Usually it is very iced as well..

Wow, without the moguls, it looks like a cakewalk! It's a shame, the camera does a horrible job of portraying how insanely steep it is though.
its alot steeper than it looks on camera
Yeah facts when I went it was so steep.

real men hit the left side cliff with no sped check off the top
No way! I just mastered Fife and Drum,...this is what I have to work up to! Scary!
it's so much worse in person, in this video, there r no Moguls on lower
Man, the isn't steep at all. Looks just like drummer boy.
It almost goes straight down, bet you haven’t even been on it 😒
