I feel very fortunate to get footage without the perspex cases as the reflection and restrictive angles makes a big difference. I almost knocked over Anakin Skywalker when I was filming the Emperor and I was panning out with the camera.

So Flew from SDCC to Hong Kong never bothered with the London Film Comic con that ends today. Was the seated Thanos not on display. Those full size displays from Thor look awesome, Few years ago they had the Hulk Buster.
Thanks for sharing. That video was so clear and loved the fact that you could get such great close ups of the figures. When I saw pictures from sdcc I thought that HT had actually gone a little backwards on there quality but after seeing this video I see they have actually stepped up there quality to an even higher level. Great to see some of the other manufactures as well and how there quality has also stepped up. Looks like the year ahead will be a busy and expensive one for most collectors.
Being able to take video footage and photos without the glass makes a huge difference due to the reflection and also the restrictive angles. I accidentally nudged a few figures when I was filming as I got too close and almost knocked over the Anakin Skywalker! Don't tell anyone.

The Superman outfit is actually very shimmering in person and hopefully that came across in the video.

I hope the Valerian figures are still released even though the movie isn't doing that well financially. I had a feeling that movie wouldn't be popular right away. I figured it'd be like Blade Runner, in which the initial reaction is mixed but audiences slowly come around to it.
Just to answer your question Anthony, The Flash headsculpt wasn't at SDCC. I think they had to use a mockup head that looked nothing like Ezra Miller....So your video is the first time many of us has seen it!! ;-)
I really hope they make the silver armor version of Valkryie shown in the latest Thor trailer. It looks way better.

So Tony, are you getting the Diecast Mark 2? This is such a headache for me since I have the unleashed version.
I am undecided, I may not pick it up as I have a chrome repainted version of the Armour Unleashed version already.
Love almost every figure shown in this video except for those baby figure with the weird eyes. I miss going to ACGHK every year.

About a month ago I saw a wave of low Eday prices for the original release of Mark 2 and I was puzzled on to why, annoyed me too because I finally hunted down Mark 2 Unleashed but before this price drop. Then they announced this, I was worried it would make Unleashed obsolete. And in the way it does with added articulation, Tony sculpt, and small mold changes - arm "shield", shoulder rockets, crotch panels... but I don't think its worth getting if you have the OG Mark 2. Super nOice re release for those who missed out, but whats public opinion about it?
And those ugly screws on the back and the arms...eeesh, I hope that's a prototype thing or they forgot to put panels back on.
You can tell that some collector's wallets just slammed shut with pain. I wonder what the prices would be for some of these items.

Seeing that the Mk II has ab crunch makes me even more annoyed with the diecast Mk III. It's almost the same suit. Oh well... now just waiting on the diecast Mk IV and Mk VII.

Does anyone know when Hot Toys plan on releasing an image of Tom Hollands head sculpt on the homemade suit?
I believe they already have, I saw it on some chinese promotion and it is a lightly battle damaged headsculpt with a little blood.

With all the their hype, Hot Toys still looks way better than Molecule 8.
