I greatly appreciate that and I appreciate the encouragement. Still working out the kinks and I haven't quite been doing this for a year but it's getting better and all of you guys supporting me has been terrific!
When you die and are spectating you should be able to press F to fast forward, without needing to open the scoreboard. On console it is just the Y button so assume it’s similar. Great content as always, this video was a wonderful bday gift. 🍻
As a recommendation to new players that want to steam roll larger armies with elite troops. I recommend village raid or good taking to train your troops and weaken the enemies faction.
11:39 ngl I wish sometimes the AI would do a tactical retreat and sacrifice units to get away when they are heavily losing, but not like a rout (as in slowly backing away and leaving, then sacrificing units to get away).
@@Sir_Hammock Go at it from the opposite direction. Use your denars to buy expensive weapons to smelt down. You'll gain a ton of levels. Thamaskene Steel Spathions and Broad Arming Swords are great for cost, material, and leveling.

Hey, I would love to see what you put together with the "My Little Warband" mod I feel like that would open up endless amounts of tactical freedom and skill expression. (edit) When the enemy is silhouetting themselves over a hill with no cover is typically referred to as "Skylining"
Skylining I like that although I think I'll stick to the historical reference which is either reverse slope decline or depressed ridge defense. Often I call it a peekaboo ridge because it's actually a much more effective against archers than anything else. As for the mod I can play around with it a little bit but I'm so immersed right now and campaigns and side series that it's very hard for me to start something fresh. What is the concept? An entire army of companions? Seems like it'd be way too powerful
@@HeadlessHorsemanProductions Oh take you time man. The concept is you can design your entire troop tree from normals to elites there are options to have the vanilla restrictions for tiers so you can keep them vanilla balanced gear and stats wise but have the troops you always wanted. I usually make a troop tree that splits into swordsmen and ACTUAL spearmen so I can split some off on the flanks to protect my mainline infantry its so nice. I also in the eagle rising mod (think rome) have slingers seperate from archers an peltasts. The mod even allow it so your owned lands can produce the troops so your lords can recruit them. It dope
They were ahead of their game by 1500 years huh? Maybe I'm just a prototype of people 1500 years into the future I retired old guy that plays video games for a living LOL 😆
Probably a legendary ronphalia or a custom glaive with 90 swing speed. I can't tell which and that battle was a few months ago so hard for me to be sure
And do you play with reduced army damage taken? I find that's the only way to train high level troops without them immediately dying in any big battle in Warband, that's why I'm asking I don't mind I've stopped playing hardcore just curious
@@InactiveNightyou dont need reduced army damage taken to train high level troops. You just need a good medicine skill to that they usually get wounded instead of killed tho, but thats usually enough to be able to keep a high level army in bannelord
@@alex2005z Wish it was that way in Warband, I've learnt high tier troops always hit the Frontline first and are the first to die, maybe I'm unlucky I've had high surgery and Wound treatment but still lose most of my soldier in larger battles, I've noticed skills work differently in Bannerlord, would you say the mechanics for chance on injury vs death is improved in Bannerlord then? Or the same?
@@InactiveNight I have never played warband, so I cant say if it has improved or not. But you can see how it is in bannelord in the video. If you look at the kill feed at the top right, a red skull means the unit was killed and a white one means it was wounded. The ods of a unit being wounded rather than killed also increases with the tier of the unit.
This channel should be on top of list of bannerlord 2
Fear NOT purists, this ultra-late game campaign is the only episodes I am reducing damage.

Peek-a-boo ridge tactic = reverse slope defense
Yep, control of the ridge is wicked.

@Sir_Hammock I think so. Might be a custom polearm, though.
