I absolutely loved the sass that Brianna White brought to Aerith's character. It added so much more to not only the character, but to the story itself. So much emotional and psychological depth in both Remake and now Rebirth. Whatever they title the 3rd and final entry, it will be a hell of a journey from start to finish!

I can only imagine its Cloud but then Cloud is there with Zack. Are we merging timelines? A character Zach meets later (no spoilers) sort of reinforces this theory but its just a theory.

My main idea (spoilers ahead) Is that Biggs is either dead or transfered to another timeline that broke off after the battle with the whispers. Sephy's manipulation of the whispers is making things worse in this off shoot time line for some reason. Either that or this is a manifestation of the lifestream which means Marleen is dead and I'm not sure I follow through with that theory 🤔
What I'm trying to figure out is, did they already retcon the scene with Zack heading into the church from the Intermission DLC? With this intro, there isn't a chance for that to happen anymore.
What is the point in those events that let’s all of the big streamers play so much of the game? I understand it if it was like a beta test, and they’re trying to get feedback from you. But playing it that late in the process, they wouldn’t have time to make too many changes anyway, and all it does is make it so that the viewers of those channels can’t experience the streamers genuine reactions to the first several hours of the game. What exactly is the utility in that?
I honestly get where you are coming from. I do think they may have showed us a little too much. But, the majority of the game was new to me so it wasn't that bad. Only reason a lot of this part wasn't new to me was the actual demo that was public to everyone.
I don't think I can get into these different time lines. The first one I ever played was FF7 remake and the ending was confusing. This opening has ruined it for me, not you Sarah. It seemed to me at the end of FF7 that Zack was alive but Cloud was with him but in a different time line. . I now see what is going on and it totally ruins it for me. There are no stakes when you introduce different time lines and I want my tears back.
Are they? I tried really hard to make them not super intrusive. I didn’t really cut cutscenes other than ones that were in the demo. 🤔 Can you give me an example of one that was annoying? Genuinely want to improve.

Yea it's probably more than two. The timeline we saw in the previous game with Zack is not the same one we saw at the beginning of this game
