Some nice Bedford RL's there, I remember back in the mid 80's scrapping 10's of these for export to India /Pakistan, gearboxes,and front and rear axles with propshaft, the remainder went for scrap as the petrol engines in these wagons was very under powered and very uneconomical
Am watching all six or more of this series. Who are the people that create and inhabit these vehicles? There must be a book or two . . . certainly articles . . . written about this truck/bus culture. Who they are and where they came from. What do they do? So many of these vehicles look like they've been "in place" for long enough for the wheels to sink into the ground and furniture spread around the perimeter. These pictures make one ask a lot of questions . . . . Somebody please put a link to an explanation for all this. I've never seen so oddball vehicles with oddball names. I've seen some of the trucks in Africa, doing overland. I just noticed this is 14 years old and only six comments???
