- Mountain climbing started in 2010 by climbing Mt. Fuji.In the summer of 2013, I accessed my dream mountain, Mt. Tsurugidake, from Nagano and climbed it via Tateyama. The guidebooks said it was for experienced climbers and cautioned against falling, so I didn't expect it to be a mountain that I could climb straight away. In the third year since I started climbing, I have steadily gained climbing experience, and Mt. Tsurugidake became the 66th mountain in the list of 100 Famous Mountains.
At the stage of my imagination, I was hesitant to see the vertical crabs and leafhoppers in the chain, but thanks to the traffic jams, I was able to prepare for them based on the movements of those ahead of me, so I was able to pass without feeling any fear. I had helmets and harnesses to prevent injuries, so I may have felt safe.
Although the equipment for sleeping in a tent was heavy and tiring, I was able to enjoy the spectacular view from Murodo, the starting point of the climb, and enjoy the pleasant ridgeline of Mt.Tateyama, giving me a sense of accomplishment as I climbed Mt. Tsurugidake.
