I remember having to replace the rear bearings on my old Polaris rzr. Didn’t have the proper tools . . After that unpleasant experience I bought a princess auto press. I have to replace a front wheel bearing on my commander tomorrow. The press gets used very little but worth every penny when needed.

The bearings are split like that from the factory.
Looks like all you had left was the outer race. I've run a bead of weld on it, let it cool, falls right out.

Wait till you do a rear one LOL. When you replace the rack go OEM trust me after market seems to be made of tempered lead.
