I actually looked this up, and it seems that pronouncing it with the 'e' at the end was used in the old radio drama they did, so it is actually correct. I'm surprised by this, as I always heard it said with the silent 'e' at the end
It isn't an AI voice, that's why. It was the crappy Vader AI voices that caused me to finally switch to voice acting for most voice acting. The only AI voice is the narrator.
Of course this then leads to the aftermath of X-Wing Tour of Duty 2 - The Great Search. However, curious how it leads to a space battle, not unlike how Empire at War's Imperial campaign described the events. Oh, interesting, the V.I. narrator pronounced Tantive properly a la the Original Trilogy radio dramas. I think there were already TIE Interceptors before Yavin. They only became more numerous post-Yavin. Also, this is a fanmade campaign based on the X-Wing game's take on events, so... There are no reinforcements available. Huh, the escape pod is actually worth inspecting? Agreed with how Tantive IV should have been visually captured. Wait, is the debriefing hinting at Toprawa being Base Delta Zero'd?
Per the lore laid out in the old EU, my memory is from Tyria in Wraith Squadron, the Empire bombarded them back to the stone age. You will have to see next week how RogueWing and I interpreted this into XWA/TFTC
I would have preferred too that the carry position of the ISD model be in the hanger opening but I think the game engine just defaults to the center of the bottom of the model and the shape of the ISD just makes that inside the model
Until recently, I actually didn't know that Tantive was pronounced like this originally. I guess the T/Is were just not on screen too much I've mentioned the docking issue to the XWAU team, probably they can do something about it
Honestly...I have always pronounced Tantive IV the way the AI said it...but ilios (the tactical briefing officer) apparently knew better than I

The Vader AI voice is pretty damn good!

@EH_JaggedFell3 oh snap, that's awesome! No offense intended to the VA!
Unfortunately you are not hearing/see all the radio messages as I had a bug, it has since been fixed
I had to play on hard, hadn't I? :P

@@EH_JaggedFell3 how was it working in the original XWA version of this mission?
Lol. You just killed Artoo and 3PO. You just rewrote the movie.
I think how it was done in the mission is completely fine for a "what if?" scenario
