THe way that its hidden in the low frequencies/not too distinct makes the cowbell a very crucial part of this tune and makes it feel deeper in a sense. The volume its at makes you hear it and want more on purpose but it would ruin it to make it louder trust me man.

Well the thing about the style of jazz dance is the song doesn't necessarily have to be "jazz." Lots of songs fall under that style of dance. This song is one of them but it could also be songs like Applause by Lady Gaga. And its not just the song. Its the way you dance to it. If choreographed differently this could maybe be a contemporary piece.
