Hallgrimsson resigned after an under-whelming performance in Copa America 2024 ending in three successive defeats. We discuss the timetable of events leading up to the resignation and try to figure out what factors would have caused us to get to this point.
The potential candidates will be discussed, and we try to gauge who of the candidates make the most logical sense, when all the factors are taken into consideration. Head of the technical committee, Rudolph Speid stated, "We want the best coach money can buy". The question on most fans minds will be how much money are we talking?
