That doggie carrier is definitely not useless. Most people get them for travel purposes. For example, many get them for support animals in order to take them on a plane or to go through an airport with more ease than having the animal walk. That way in a crowded place, you don’t have to worry about the animal getting stepped on or from experiencing extra anxiety.
Or for older dogs who have some difficulties with walking
