  • My Audi A7 has been in the Shop basically for over 2 weeks trying to figure out what was wrong. Turns out in the end it was the PCV Valve & a Crossover Pipe that they replaced. Hopefully this solves the issue.
    Lmk if ya'll enjoyed!

Volkswagen auto group products have some weird ways they design the assembly of their automobiles great when they work hell when they don’t …you got the garage get you some tools and start wrenching yourself bro 😎

I hope that do the trick, that pcv valve is the last thing I would have thought of…. But you back !!!

Beautiful car but it can become a money pit really fast. I had an A6 3.0T. The engine went out twice. Coolant issues abound. I drive a Beemer now, no problems.

Depending on model year. These engines are very durable and people running stage 2+ tunes running over 250k miles on them and still running. maintenance is key and buying right model years.
These b8-b8.5 platforms are great as long as you get regular oil changes, change all fluids when you're supposed to and replace parts. PCV, Breather kit, thermastat and waterpump all should be changed around 100k miles. If you do it yourself and have the tools all this will cost around 1k in parts. Add spark plugs to this list too. After this next big thing will be timing chains which can last up to 200k miles. $1500 part and if you have a shop install probably another $1500 in labor.
Control arms, can go which are about $700 in parts. Which idk for the build quality of these cars I believe is worth the investment. My 2016 kia vs my 2016 sq5 feel remarkably different.
This being stated if you're not going to do the work yourself and are not mechanically inclined. Id suggest buying a OBD2 to scan your car constantly. Shops will charge a good amount for any of this to be done. Audi prices in Atlanta I think is like $250 a hour. Euro specialists here are not far behind. If you buy the parts yourself youll save huge.

I have a 2016 a7 and had to get that changed too. Such a terrible design by Audi to put it under the supercharger.

I got a 2013 A7...I had the valve cover gaskets, oil filter holder gasket, PVC valve, DTC for PVC valve, oil separator/crankcase breather valve, upper & lower intake gaskets, 6 injector seal kits, coolant pipe, and coolant X2 all replaced!!! Cost me $6440...😭😭😭😞 I just bought the car August 2023...I knew it might need some work done due to the age of the car but DAMN!!

@@malikaudi Thank you! Me too... praying this is it for at least a long while. I'm ready to finish my upgrades. Ordering cold air intake and 9" screen Friday. Got to wait until August to get wheels and suspension due to this maintenance hit. Good luck with yours and your car looks great! Like that black on black.
