The 1966 Pontiac was the most elegantly styled of all Pontiacs, no wonder why it was in 3rd place in total sales behind only Chevrolet and Ford in 1966.
Amazing car, thank you with a high dollar professional detail underside and engine area, worth $45,000-$55,000 easy, in my humble Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale opinion, after selling 30 classics there over the years. ...do not let this go cheep!
COOL! My neighborhood friend in S FL had one like this, Very similar colour, w/421 TRI POWER🏁, as my '64 GTO had(!) He 'campained' it at THE DRAGS in '67 and called it 'THE JOLLY GREEN GIANT'🏁 I don'o if he knew about Arnie Beswick or not, i didn't yet.
2+2 was not a canada only option , 2+2 option was available on grand prix’s and catalina’s in 64,65 ,66 and 67 in 66 the 2+2 became its own model with the catalina being dropped from the name In Canada the catalina was a Parisien and had GM’s small block 283 chevy engine as its base
Those were the best cars ever made, it's a rolling piece of art 🎨
55 years old have this Pontiac Catalina 2+2 .

All these vehicles must available on South Africa we like them
Had 2 growing up in the family
Very rare being that it's a 2+2 4sp with a/c. 2+2 were only available in Canada and this was a special order with the 4sp and air 💙💙💙

@@gibsondrummer Ah oh thanks for the info
does the man on the driver's seat is original?
Very cool car and fast
I have 2 sets of 8 lugged hubs. For a 1966 Grand Prix and a 1965 Grand Prix also have 3 rims..
I wish I could win the lottery...
Pops had one in Midnight Blue (I believe...don't @ me).
The GTO on steroids
They should have put the 428 nascar engine with the round port heads dual quad aluminum intake manifold in these
I'll take it!
What does 2+2 mean? Four seats? Or some configuration code like 442?
How much it’s beautiful
Gotta have that ice cold air.
Is this car still for sale ?
Does it over heat?
Did this ever sell?
What was the original color?
For sale ?
nice
