Don't worry about not getting all of the lore at once, Sera. After all of these years, most of us still ask "...but what does it mean?!" when watching LOONA content.
I've been stanning since the first Loona solo came out in 2016, and I'm still trying to piece together the lore and figure out how the new videos fit in... And I think MVs like this owe a big debt to dark cinematic noir MVs like 9Muses 'Ticket' for paving the way :)...

she doesn't have the range, but makes up for it with dynamics.Her use of breath as a secondary part of her sound is second to none.something others try to learn but she does it effortlessly , gives her voice so much warmth and emotion.Everyone else sounds flat and the same compared to Kim lip, That's why she is the queen of Bridges and pre-chorus. Would love to see her do more emotional slow R&B stuff like Toni Braxton style. she would absolutely destroy that genera.

it’s such a fun song, i’ve had it on repeat ever since it dropped. the “to be continued” has me so excited for what’s coming next. i do agree that they should get more into sub units again, just to show off the girls and their charisma a little better, which isn’t always easy with 12 girls

Please also check out their Opening Show on Queendom 2. The Moon Girls were not able to get live votes (because they got sick during the actual filming time) and watching the video helps them earn points. They consider this show as their comeback. It is a huge exposure for the group.

you're absolutely right about the unit and solos to showcase the members more considering how big the group is. And BBC actually promised that, that we would see new units and of course it never happened. They also promised cinema theory (lore related content) in the US and Brazil and again, that never happened. BBC really could do so much with the girls, even if it isn't full budget mvs, they could easily do covers and dance videos. it's so frustrating watching BBC just letting the girls simmer with all the skills they have yet to show. Hopefully this is the start of something new.
I don't mean to be nit picky here, but...
"...that we would see new units and of course it never happened." It just happened. Did you not see the video? Granted, they're not being billed as "Loona 7/8's" or something, but they're obviously mixing things up and giving the girls some time to shine outside of the main group.
As for US and Brazil stuff, covid kind of squashed that idea, at least for the time being.
I do agree that they could give Loona more projects, even if they are low to mid budget videos for covers and dance videos. But, you know, it is what it is. They did have some rough patches there. Maybe they have some things in the works. Who knows?

The production cinematography team is different so it's not canon so to speak but keep some elements of their lore. Also, Loona has done a collaboration promotional song called Yum Yum for Cocomong but it's the cute side, and there is another one on the way. BBC has contracts with digipedi /monotree mainly for the LOONA and the LOONAVERSE concept as well as the use of their iconic logo so if you don't see the iconic logo it is not canon.

I agree, Sera. Each member has their own charm & appeal & I want to see that showcased more. Projects like this are great- and i LOVED their solos. I also hope they'll come out with some more unique group music because as their predebut fan i found them very original & unique before but almost all of their group tts have been the same kind of concept everyone else is doing. It took away what made them stand out-it made them just another gg. A concept & choreo like Butterfly was really incredible & attention grabbing even from the gen pub. I wish they would do something distinctive like that again
Also really can't wait for pt2 of this project!!! I really love it, this was a great concept for loona & it's great how it showcased certain members. Expecting a different subunit in the next one 😁

There's definitely some nods to the Loonaverse in this video but you don't have to know any of that stuff to appreciate and enjoy the MV. I do know the moon is a blend of all of their representative colors at the end and Yves taking a bite out of the apple (her representative fruit) is a callback to Chuu's "Heart Attack" MV in which she also stars. Regardless it is the sound that is most attractive to me here as I love this type of guitar driven R&B. It's so smooth and appealing and the girls sound great!

Sadly, I don't think we will have Solo songs anymore. It cost a lot and the rewards are not that great in fine. Even subunit will be rare I think. One B-side for each subunit will be great on a full album but that's the only things we can hope for i'm pretty sure.
