During the Sprinting Sophia event in Rotterdam I recorded this 911 Porsche Turbo several times. At the and end the car did a acceleration and lost control of the car and crashed it in a fence. He tried to drive further but he had a flat tire. Luckily the Porsche Dealer was just around the corner. So its there now. Luckily no one got hurt!

How the hell do you crash a rear engined, 4WD car with TC and stability control on?
By turning TC and stability control off, and then not knowing that the engine in a Porsche is the back, and when lifting off the throttle the weight will shift forwards, thus making it over-correct itself.
Idiot driver.
I had the same question. Traction control and power distribution is what makes the car so good.
even with everything on the previous gen lashed out (especially if you upset the car further by overcorrecting it).

Yes he had everyting on. But It looked like the Turbo kicked in or something.
+Carspotter Jeroen Dam. Gotta be careful with cars nowadays. Too much power. I have a 2016 ZO6 and I've had some close calls without even really giving it that much throttle. Well.. all in all thank God no one was hurt and the car is fine and the value wasn't cut in half.

How tf do you get wheelspin on a porsche 911 turbo, I thought those cars had unbreakable traction lol. I can only assume driver had traction control turned off.

Car wasn't straight when he was peaking power(580 HP) at the top of the revs and then all is lost.

Ja, ik heb de eigenaar naar de eindbestemming van het evenement gereden. Gaf aan dat het vervelend was, maar dat er ergere dingen in het leven zijn.
Anti-lock brakes strike again. Once you get sideways the anti-lock brakes prevent you from locking the wheels up so you uncontrollably continue in the direction the car is pointed instead of the direction you want to go. If you had a way to turn them off or smart anti-lock it would prevent thousands of these types of accidents you see all over the world. Get sideways like that and you just stand on the brakes locking all 4 wheels. That way you continue in the direction you were going and just slide to a stop sideways without an issue. Back when cars were cars and drivers had complete control this was a total non issue. Anti-lock can be valuable for some scenarios but over and over people crash when they spin out like that and then they just continue moving the direction the car is pointed. I totally destroyed a BMW Dinan 7 because of this. I was drifting around a corner and hit a bit of gravel and it spun more then was controllable pointing me to the inside of the turn straight at a concrete wall. Because of anti-lock the car continued directly at the wall and smashed into it head on. Had it not been for anti-lock I could have easily just locked up the brakes and continued sliding sideways down the road harmlessly coming to a stop. Anti-lock are a total freaking nightmare and this serious issue needs to be fixed immediately.

Cool ... a modded to 2 wheel drive, highly boosted Turbo 911 .... when the boost comes on strong, the rear wheels will break loose ... every time! (that's why I left the AWD operating on mine, LOL).
Really? You think it's been modified from 4WD to 2WD? I didn't even imagine it was possible 🤔😏
@@drytoon1507 Yes.. that is a mod done on more than a handful of them. There are aftermarket front axle stubs... and one must pull the front drive shafts, axles & differential. End result is rear wheel drive, that poorly distributes power to those 2 rear wheels.

Olivier Bonnet Turbo S comes standard with carbon ceramic brakes with yellow calipers. The Turbo has the steel brakes with red calipers as seen in the video.

It looks more like the car shifted gears, and the car slipped away after that because of the power.
Were the control's off? I don't understand how that's possible in a 4 wheel drive car, even a violent one like 911 Turbo S.
It's AWD, but it's rear biased. With the computer assists turned off, it's possible to break the rear end loose.
it happened to me with a 997.2 turbo on a wet road. it lashes out even with esp on. if you are a good driver then it is easy to get the car under control.. i was saved by the esp :D but yeh, it is a very civilized car, but still handful for the average competent driver

That is really odd behaviour..I have the same car with +650 hp to the wheels and I doubt I could get the car to react like that even if I tried..especially if the PSM was on...no way it would do that...something is wrong here..either with the car mechanically or the nannies
