One of the best isekai if not the best. Consists of peak World building, one of the most complex power system and one of the largest charecter cast. Alongside a very good story with very very deep lore.....(Light Novel wise. Since anime just only covered/adapted 1/4 of the total series)
If there is one thing that annoys me on the anime is that they especially in P2 of Season 2 have a tendency go for scenes without much consideration for world and character consistency ... which is doubly annoying with this series as that is one of the novels big strengths .. That said everything else about the anime is fire ... Animation clean Music great Sound design awesome ... When they adapt properly they often knock it out of the park
For the first two seasons, the primary antagonist is the tall, white-haired man wearing distinguished clothes and a devious, scheming grin. In the first opening, he's the one who reaches for the screen after being the last in attendance of a group of four that include a pink-haired girl, a winged woman, and a blonde brutish looking guy. He's a part of the group who reminded you of Team Rocket, I think he's something of an acting leader or something. Ironically, it looks like the rest of the group is going to be more of a problem now that that guy's no longer around to be the face of their group and thus a scapegoat for whatever they get up to. Also, since you seemed to be confused, the pink-haired girl seen fighting the MC in the second opening is the one grouped up with the antagonist in the OPs, but she's not the pink-haired girl as the one who picked him up in slime form earlier in that same opening. There are two pink-haired girls, one has two horns, the other doesn't have horns. The one who picked up the MC in slime form is the one with horns, the one being associated with the antagonist in the OPs is the one without. The pink-haired girl in the opening slashshot is the one with horns, since it sounded like you thought she was the one you'd just seen fighting the MC. The pink-haired girl with horns is the same race as the purple-haired woman with a horn, the blue-haired man with a horn, the red-haired man with horns, and the old man with horns.
Yeah, TenSura is a top tier anime. Fun, dramatic, great art style, kick ass SFX. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for a slightly longer show to invest in. Season 3 is looking fan-fucking-tastic.
