7:12 a true altima in its natural state
These look so much better in person. They also sound so much better in person.
My neighbors friend came over with his MC20 and STO one day, I was shocked at the sound.
Yes it's expensive but it *looks* expensive and exotic. Like nothing else on the road. Makes a statement everywhere you go and feels special, which is everything I want if i'm spending that much. I'd buy one
I agree. Not a maserati fan but love the mc20. So unique looking and seems like a great driving experience
paying 100k extra because a car looks exotic is absurd. if you want this type of performance get a gtr and save 100k, or if you want the look then get a lotus.
This is the first modern supercar that's gotten me excited since the 458.
I’ve never found myself wanting a Maserati how i want this one. Spec is beautiful
I saw one in person for the first time a few weeks ago- I always thought it looked goofy, but seeing it in person is different- it has a really nice presence when you see it in person. Looks like a blast, thanks for the video
These things are so cool. The fact that they're a good 100k less expensive than any of their Italian competitors and seem to be available NOW (based on a quick auto trader search) make the MC20 quite an intriguing option.
Agreed, you’re not sacrificing any power and this has all the sex appeal you could want imo. If you like turbo noises and can do without a V10 or V8 it’s a good option!
I mean the next generation of ferrari will be v6 as well with a hybrid@@TheTopher
I love that the engine sounds like an engine. It is an authentic sound, unlike what you get in lots of other cars today.
I'VE BEEN WAITING ON THIS. Someone in my area has one, absolutely stunning car and I honestly really love the way it sounds. I'm a bit of a weirdo that way, always appreciated a nice V6 note and this has a very cool grittiness to it that I just adore.
Finally a very good car review, talking in depth about the engine, breaking and steering feel, gearbox, etc CONGRATS
the MC-20s engine will go down in history. What a glorious machine.
is this a Giulia qv engine bored out to make it 3L? Sound is so similar in the mid range.
Maserati messes a lot of things up but supercar design is definitely not one of them
I would say it looks to be the finest handling car you’ve tested.
I was really impressed when you tested it out in California.
The chassis just deals with any road surface.
It sounds a little better this time around, though inside it’s still pretty boring.
Gorgeous looking on the outside, somewhat boring on the inside.
Not sure why they called it the MC20 but it deserves something more special, like being named after some track or like.
I can’t wait for the night POV.
You seem to pick the best times for driving, I can’t remember seeing a cop in any of your videos, they’re probably just drooling like the rest of us.
Exciting as always T.
👍
Great design and materials overall , and it really looks exotic! Definitely the coolest Maserati. The interior is a bit bland but that's not the worst place to skimp on a performance car.
Beautiful sounding and looking machine
Where’s my Italian v12 in this thing?
Jokes aside- the turbos sounds are great, very cool car and good to see Maserati back in the game with this thing, always wish it sung a bit more though!
That twin-turbo whistle is mint
dreamcar material, absolutely stunning and unique, perfect
Props for getting the dirt off of the shoes before getting in🔥🔥🔥
Every Italian super cars are amazing. I love it.🇮🇹❤❤❤
It's almost reminds me of a 2jz. 3.0 liters, 6 cylinders, insane amount of power per cylinder/liter. Although the price is a bit too much tbh. I'm not sure what you get here for the price of an average Ferrari or McLaren/Porsche. Turbo lag maybe?
TheTopher makes the best videos ever :)
What a beautiful car and color, great video as always. Cheers!
This or the Lotus Emira manual V6 supercharged for half the price?
The terrifying and rough nature of that Turbo V6 in this car is absolutely savage. Like an old Koenigsegg or something. Just pissed off and angry. It's so cool.
Get your hands on the drop top version, and compare your experience.
Getting this close of a perspective is helpful 👍🏽
Great review, you’ve earned my subscription!
saw a red mc20 just like this one in beverly hills the other day
The only Maserati that still properly holds up the Maserati brand name
I saw one in Beverly Hills, California a few weeks ago. What a cool car 😊
The fact these are selling for around 170 shows they are the best value in exotic land at the moment
Not usually a fan of Maserati, but this is the exception.
I know it might be a bit difficult to get but could we have an AML Vantage review anytime soon? Thanks for the content Topher!
Closest thing to an Alfa 33 that we’ll see here. Future used purchase.
Crazy price. Does Maserati think people are cross shopping this with a Ferrari and low end Lamborghinis?
The turbos sound dope af
The other MC20 produced severe wind noise from over 250 km/💦 Is this vehicle similar ?
What's with the kindle fire in the middle of the car? All that money for that?
Do these depreciate in value like the other maseratis? Maybe I can get one for 35k in 5 years haha
So far, no. I've been watching the market incredibly closely and low optioned ones are hovering in the low 210-220's, those with more options are sticking in the 240+. If something with front lift (the only option I care about) drops below 200 or someone is willing to deal, that's a range I can accept. I'm very interested to see what low mileage 2022's will be in another year or two.
Maserati MC20 is very nice super car. I love it.
being a maserati, wonder if it will fall apart after it gets some miles and years on it.
Italian 🇮🇹 Cars 🔥💪🏻
This car is absolutely brilliant!
Rollin' in the 'rati
Sounds heavenly!!
Hopefully if they do a refresh for 2024 I’d like to see better handling in them
Nice Video, wonderful car!!! Kind regards from Germany!!! 🙋♂️🙋♂️👍👍
This car really does give off the vibe of a bigger 4C.
Please do the Grecale Trofeo!
5:32 Really? It's soft? According to the throttle house dudes, it's extremely stiff even in its softest setting. Didn't motortrend say the same thing too?
Yeah that’s an interesting note, this MC20 was surprisingly compliant, you can tell from the video it didn’t have as much of a problem putting power down as the car we drove out in CA.
Considering how close to this you can option a Maserati GT, this isn't such a bad value in their lineup
Thing sounds like a Buick GNX. Is it just me?
that v6 on that engine bay looks tiny. they shoudl have gone with v8 at least..or v10 to be perfect
Could you include mass in the specs in description for your videos?
I thought that the windows were open when they were closed. This vehicle needs much more sound insulation for the money.
1:11 door panel alignment and window weather stripping gap by the b pillar looks atrocious for that price... can't unsee
How does the steering wheel feel on this?
That colour is gorgeous🤌
just a v6 and it doesnt look like one actually
wasnt this supposed to start at 150k ?
It actually sounds pretty good to me. A 458 sounds better but that’s a 10+ year old car now
Emira on steroids, I like it!
I would buy one but I have a
underground car park and I don't know 😅
Dream car
WHAT A CAR omg !!!
Not a 23'! The 23 has a digital drive mode selector and a blue start/ stop button.
beautiful
We need nsx type s comparison video
It shares the same interior as the 2023 audi rs3😊
used to own one of these. can confirm its raw and a bit scary. def never drove it in race mode before the tires were warm.
This car looks more like a Jaguar than an Italian supercar. It kinda resembles Jaguan CX75
Sounds like a loud cabin
Sounds like an NSX!
300k for a V6? C'mon now, is it really even a super car?
Oh come on, times have changed sadly V8s are getting rarer these days. Atleast we still get new exciting cars that run on good old internal combustion.
Don’t base it off the engine but rather the performance. Is the ford gt not a super car cause it has a v6????
Mi aspettavo di vedere la Maserati a 320\330 km-h sulle strade americane . Peccato .
Hello from 🇬🇪 Georgia
Maserati used to be garbage, curious to see how this one holds up
Paired with 7Design carbon kit and exhuast the MC20 is one of the greats.
Rather buy a lotus emira for 100k
oh no, not in michigan😟
Face looks like a lotus emira
U know Chrysler makes these cars jus a heads up
dealers should include 3 pre-paid speeding tickets upon purchase 😂
“So much drama on the inside”
Interior same as a Mazda
Its infuriating that car companies are developing and investing in the cleanest internal combustion technologies possible, yet it will never be good enough for the psycho environmentalist tyrants who want to banish them forever. I look forward to the day when their EV fever dreams come crashing down in the face of reality.
This seems like the anti supercar supercar. People who don’t want the usual Ferrari, Lambo or McLaren can get something very unique.
🤩
Ugh imagine if this came in manual.
This car is not worth 225 grand maybe 100 grand looks very cheap and plain inside for that price
👍🏻
Is this a “poor” man’s Ford GT?
the infotainment looks tacked on and mounted too low
Same dash as an Audi lol
Smiješna vožnja 😂😂😂😂😂
Saw this last night at Waffle House on my way home 😯 Definitely made my night
Beautiful car too bad all sports car interiors look the same now, generic digital gauge cluster and a generic tablet glued in the middle
these screens are a sin to interior design, i hate it, they look awful and throw off the entire look and feel of a good interior
Looks like an Acura, C8, R8 and all the others. Meh
Ferrari developed the majority of the engine. Lol
Von außen ein sehr gelungenes Auto, jedoch innen komplett mißraten. Würde ich deshalb definitiv nicht kaufen.
