For anyone just wanting to install just the bash guard, the 1.5mm spacer (thinner one) goes with the front bolt. There is a recess behind the front bolt mount hole. The 1.5 mm spacer makes it even. That's it.
Here’s a trick for you; if you put a small bit of shop towel on the head of the Hex hey bolt, when you insert it to the bolt it will hold the bolt on so it won’t drop off letting you fettle it down where it needs to go easy.
It's only 2 bolts to take the cranks off, seems like it might have made installation easier. Just sayin' nome sayin'. Cool channel though keep 'em coming.

Para que hacerlo facil, si dificil es mejor ?
A video on making the simplest job look difficult. Someone else must be actually building the bike.
Make sure to test all gears and check for rubbing sound, apply spacers as needed.
how did u got the two tab holes? mine don't have those
you have a 2020 Kobain Frame?

that's a great tip! thanks!
Thank you for your wisdom guy !

For sure it would have been easier, just wanted to show that it's possible without taking off the crank :)
Thanks for sharing, do they make this for a non ISCG version ? What would you recommend
Thanks
Hows that frame seen one for same for like 250$
So far so good!, boost thru axle, ISCG mounts, reasonably slack HTA
Do you think a chain guide is needed for HT? I do agree that bash guard is more required than the chain guide though
Not all chainrings will let you line up the screws. I had to loosen mine up on my SC 5010.
Neato...but why are these so expensive?
I don't know? haha They are cheaper than the MRP ones and seem just as solid.
Better than crank replacement
Amazing video quality
Just installed both on my 2022 Polygon Siskiu T7, great fit and did not have to remove sprocket/crank.
Glad to hear it worked out great for you!
This guy complains to much
Thanks for the vid, appreciate it.
you can make extra bash guards out of wood as well
You could!
I go back an fourt with putting one the stumpjumper only has 2 bolt holes for it.
I don't think I could ride a bike without a bashguard on some of the trails I ride! haha. The chain guide is probably overkill though.
Awesome!! Just picked up a FUNN stem over the holidays, can’t wait to get it on!
Nice! What stem did you get?
Toogy Howser MTB picked up the 35mm Strippa in red 😁
Would I be able to mount this on my Santa Cruz Chameleon?
yes the Chameleon has ISCG-05 tabs so it should fit nicely!
Where do you get that Funn guide from in Canada?
Amazon.ca is probably the best bet!
Good video!! But u need some commercial so you get some revenue🤘🤘 other wise good job
Thanks, what do you mean by commercial?
@@ToogyHowser sorry 😂 i mean ads... English is my second or third language
Awesome just about to put one on the Roscoe 7
Great! make sure to get the right one, the Roscoe doesn't have ISCG05 mounts, or at least it didn't.
I have the same stem but in red. Red on blue.
Nice!
