    She is spot on..in the late 70s..Minneapolis was a hot bed of new talent..rock,punk,funk..dance clubs, bars..and amazingly enough I don't recollect any violence...just good music and good times. Jays was so cool...I saw Edie the Egg lady from John Waters crew play there..too weird for words.The Ramones and The Runaways played The State Theater in January 1978..wow. Now it costs too much too see any band at any venue.
