    What's truly remarkable is how the orca are so cognizant of their own selves that they know their dorsal fins are visible above the water when upright.

    The way they move in the water is breathtaking!
    So grateful and stealthy when they need to be and for a creature that was easily a 5 tonne Orca gliding through the water like it was floating on air!
    What a machine!
    Beautiful to look at, extremely intelligent yet so powerful and deadly!
    What an awesome creature!!

      Unsure why you would find this depressing these Orca are hunting for food unlike humans who hunt for fun and trophies, now thats depressing.

      @@troophq Because the orca take a baby seal and then show the young orcas how to drown it........don't do the whole, ' I'm hard, this is nature ' .......some people find this hard as they have compassion

    In BC when the orca hunt the seals they’ll occasionally jump into our kayaks hoping to get away. Nope. The orca will tip us over and get them. I’ve been a bit battered but never hurt by those amazing creatures. That’s more than I can say about the sea rats they’re hunting.

    • @carlhughes9584
      @carlhughes9584 Рік тому +3

      Rats?? Is that how you talk about animals desperately trying to escape death? Show some respect

    • @michaellawrence6677
      @michaellawrence6677 Рік тому

      @@carlhughes9584 my respect is reserved for creatures who deserve respect. The Orca are amazing, their intelligence and abilities are awe inspiring. Seals are nothing more than rats of the sea. Respect for vermin is wasted. Do you go pet and adore the wharf rats? That is what seals are. Obviously the only things you know about them are gleaned from your television. Go out and actually meet them then you’ll see. So shut your ignorant mouth.

      @@vvaavvii Hope you referring to the Canadian commenting on another countries wildlife he knows nothing about? Grey seals are a rare seal but found in reasonable numbers around Britain. However, I'd have empathy with any baby animal that lost it's life in such a brutal way. That's not being soft or a wimp, it's called being a normal human being with normal emotions and respect for other living things

    INGENIOUS seal hunt 💔🦭 | Wild Isles - BBC 2002pm 12.3.23 you've just aired this skit and then aired the video diary of how the film was brought about... anyhow; this seems half arsed compared to the obligatory African adventure... i would have liked to have found out more re: the Dragon fly or damson fly life cycle.

      @@theotheseaeagle INGENIOUS seal hunt 💔🦭 | Wild Isles - BBC 12.3.23 2131pm once over the BBC would spend many months getting their footage. this must be Attenborough's swan song. there is no one to take his place, you understand. i mean re: the fact he has a genuine interest in his subject and the fact the hysterical jawbones who now present natural history are kindda lame.. and without an ounce of authority in their demeanour whatsoever....
