Yeh the mayor many years ago kept to the old tradition of paupers are welcome at the foot of the castle somthing like that we were told by one of the locals
The road you see there is the one easy to spot it's very long and you will see all the vans you can see turrets of castle from there so it's only a walk away there's a cafe nearby too 🙂

Just realised do you mean Donnington I thought you meant arundel Donnington has a smaller carpark we didn't stop over there
