I am a beginner and I make mines in black only black and it look so realistic. Although the legs was a bit difficult because of black wool. But other than came out beautiful I love mines and yours. Thank u for taking your time to explain us step by step really appreciate that
I'm a beginner and yes my fingers hurt from making the legs and yes it took multiple evenings but finally I finished it. I used some soft gradient pastel colored chunky yarn, so it looks like a cotton candy spider and it is so adorable. Thank you for sharing this tutorial with us!
You got the most realistic crochet spider! I just completed one for my 7 yr. old grandson who love anything to do with spiders. Thank you for sharing your talents with your fans and subscribers!
This is the best crochet tutorial I’ve ever seen. I’ve watched many for different projects and none are as clear and easy to follow as this one! The pattern is well explained and thorough so there’s no guess work. My spider turned out awesome! I added two more smaller eyes around each big eye just to make it more realistic to tarantulas. Thanks for the amazing video!
She said alternative is to do SC from R3 for legs 😂❤ Jesus my hands elbows and finger r killing me after 2 legs. So rest of the legs will be the alternative
I found that it was easier to work the legs if I put a light colored pipe cleaner in it after the first decrease. It stretched the stitches out enough to see them and get the hook in easier too
I can't wait to be done with this... probably not the best choice for my first amigurumi... the legs are making me want to jam my hook in my eye, but after I finish those I can finally put it together and I'm excited for that
Honestly, I was getting pissed off at my yarn, so I took the lazy way out and just did 6sc around the whole thing and just did the color changes as she did, the first 2 rounds I did the same as her, but I’m about a month into crocheting and I was about to give up and they look just as good since I used pipe cleaners for shape
Absolution fantastic! Thank you for explaining very well, the legs wanted me to stick the needle in my eye but I got thru it! I'll upload a pic when I'm done
I am obsessed with this pattern! Thanks so much. Only critic I have, is if you say it's an intermediate pattern, you shouldn't have to explain every detail. This video could have been a little shorter.
Hi. You can use plush yarn. The label on the yarn will have crochet hook size mentioned. Please use 1-2 size smaller hook. For bernat blanket yarn I would use 7 mm crochet hook. The thickness of the other plush yarns will vary. So we have to go with the sizes mentioned on the label.
This spider is SUPER cool, but omg, crocheting these 8 legs has made my fingers so sore. The decreases are painful and difficult. Don't under assume how long this could take you. I still think the payoff is worth it because this spider is cool, but if you have arthritis or have injured your fingers in the past year, skip this one. This is my experience, maybe im just not as skilled as y'all, maybe its my yarn type. (Lilly sugar'n cream, 4mm hook) Best of luck to everyone, like I said, the spider does turn out amazing. Edit: if there was only like 1 or 2 legs, it wouldn't be as big of a deal but because silly spiders have 8 legs, thats where the pain really comes in 😂

hi, can I use plush yarn instead of worsted weight yarn? and what hook size should I use? Thank you 💕😊

@@CraftyCrochetCastle what size eye would you recommend to use for this pattern made with Bernat blanket yarn?
I made 2 of them. Love the pattern.
I have a question.
Is it ok if i write this pattern in dutch with your permission?
I don’t think so
Hey. I’m starting a business soon and wanted to know if I have permission to sell products using this pattern?
Thank you for reaching out. Yes you can sell the finished products using the pattern 🙂
So nice

Merci je les fait j.adore
Gracias me quedo fantástica saludos desde calama Chile
is it possible to be put on your shoulder?
Hi. Yes. It should stay on your shoulder. If you would like a bigger tarantula, you can use a thicker yarn and bigger hook 🙂
@@CraftyCrochetCastle thanks for answering me 😊
i hate spiders but these look cute haha
It’s soooo hard to do the legs!
Would this pattern work with plush yarn?
It would! I haven’t crocheted this pattern with a plush yarn!
Hi, I am blind. Is there any way to get a copy of this in writing?
