Five Nights At Freddy's 2 takes place in 1987, making it a prequel. At the end of the game, a newspaper article states that because of recent malfunctions of the robots, they will be scrapping the new robots and keeping the old ones for when they re-open. Phone Guy says that the robots are becoming screwy, like they are being tampered with. This must take place after the "Bite of '87", but still in the same year, hence the re-opening of the restaurant in the year 1987, but in November, near the end of the year, so it is safe to assume that Freddy Fazbear's had this problem some time in the early summer. I believe that the Marionette is evil, and tampered with the other robots so they will be aggresive. The Marionette must be possesed by an evil spirit, with is why it is able to fly and move with no strings. In the cutscene after night 4, you see the Marionette hovering in front of Freddy. This would explain why the robots attack you in Five Nights At Freddy's 1. The whole "Metal Endoskeleton" thing is just the company explaining the strange behavior, because they did not know the Marionette is evil. They also must not know that the Marionette made the move along with the older robots, as they said they were getting rid of all the newer bots. Since the Marionette didn't want to be found out, it stayed hidden thoughout the whole game. Also note how the Marionette does not have a difficulty option on the Custom Night. It is a seperate entity from the other robots. Hence, the reason the Marionette can be evil no matter what, when the robots have to be changed. Long story short: The Marionette is evil and pissed off for some reason, and is using the naturally nice robots to do his dirty work.

Jacks reactions seem a lot more natural to me than most other youtubers.
He doesn't jump out of his chair and completely loses his shit screaming like a little kid.
I think it's more fun to watch someone doing great commentary with reactions that don't seem staged rather than only screaming and panicking. Besides, I'd much rather see someone laugh after these jumpscares than just go on about how hard that just hit them, it's just way more enjoyable to me :P

Jack, I'm gonna give you some tips
1: there are potentially 11 animatronics
2: when you see Freddy 2.0 in the middle hallway, don't worry about thin until he starts to lean on the wall to the right.
3: you can fend off Foxy by shining the flashlight in his face
4: don't freak out when you hear a kid laughing "hi" or "hello", it's most likely the balloon boy and he advances when he says that. He doesn't jump scare you, but he disables the lights, which screws you with Foxy and Foxy 2.0
5: whenever you see Chica or Bonnie, they're not going to do anything for a little bit, but you have to immediately put on your mask when they appear in your room (they just kinda teleport sometime)
6: don't look at them in the eye if you can, according to the telephone guy, they become more aggressive when you do that.
7: always keep the music box wound up, it's your new best friend, like the door
8: from my observations, a marionette seems to appear whenever you keep your mask on for too long, and it will kill you even with the mask on
9: (you probably know this already but just in case you didn't know) you can use your flashlight while looking in the camera, and you
can find some Easter eggs from it.
10: the Golden Freddy hasn't really been seen anywhere yet, so you shouldn't really worry about them
11: after night 3, there are little cutscenes that are really cool, so that's a little treat :)
12: whenever your flashlight goes out, just keep trying to use it for a little bit and it should come back on
13 (the last one I could think of right now): there are huge story progressions in this, and it seems that the creepy little puppet or the marionette is evil and was there since the beginning, it's just very eerie

You do know that the majority of players played it with fullscreen on computers right in front of their faces, the others being youtubers like jack who record with minimized screens. So watching with fullscreen on mobile is not scary at all. Watching on computer is way less scarier than playing on pc.

Actually it makes a lot of sense for FNAF 2 to be a prequel. A. After beating night 6 it says that the new "Toy" animatronics are being scrapped along with BB and the Marionette, but they are keeping the old ones and plan on repairing them, and hope to open again one year, but with a smaller budget. Plus, nothing explains Phone Guy's ya know... being alive and everything, and if they actually had brand new animatronics, they would have most DEFINITELY buffed out the whole, "sees you as an endoskeleton and stuff you into a suit" glitch, because that's something pretty major. Also, on night 5, the message, which I read on the Official FNAF 1 and 2 Wiki, refers to the old restaurant they got the old animatronics from being named "Fredbear's Family Diner" but says that place has been gone for years. On Night 6, they say the place is being shut down until further notice, but has one more kid's birthday the next day. Mangle is handled by toddlers every day, and it's very plausible he(she?) may have either malfunctioned during the party, or something darker is happening with the animatronics, and it chose to bite the kid. There isn't much to say that this theory is NOT plausible, the check being dated at 1987 backing my theory more. Scott most likely won't confirm this, but it is most likely the case.

I'm going to delete this comment soon, but I would like to point out that you are completely wrong. Jump scares are not at all scary, they just surprise you. Do you fear for your life when someone yell "Boo!" at you, or throws you a surprised birthday party? No, you are surprised. I hate how people think jump scares actually count as horror. Any horror game that relies on jump scares is not a horror game.

Okay. This is the real stuff, I have watched tons of vids on people playing 10/20 and night 6 already and here is what i know.
1. Keep music box wound up. You are dead when the high pitched music starts when you aren't in the music room.
2. Put up the mask for old animatronics. You have to do it fast enough or they will kill you anyway.
3. If you see Toy Chica or Bonnie in your vents put up your mask or you die.
4. If you see Balloon Boy in the left vent light then put up your mask or he goes in your room, disables your light, and laughs at you until foxy kills you.
5. If you hear the horrible static when the Mangle is in a room you are looking at in a room that the Mangle isn't in, he is in your room and you have to put the mask up before he appears hanging from the ceiling. He CAN kill you and he also brings Foxy to you.
6. You don't need to check the other cameras unless you hear the bang bang that an animatronic is in the vent. If you hear that check them real quick occasionally and flash them with your light.
Good pattern: Open camera to wind music box-> close camera-> pull up mask instantly and put it down if nothing happens-> check lights and flash Foxy-> put up mask again if you see balloon boy or bonnie in the vent lights--> repeat
You can win!!!!
