Fitting driver seat to passenger side MK7 transit… using MK8 seats

I can confirm you can fit a mk7 transit drivers seat base to the passenger side using factory mounts. And also that Mk8 seats bolt up also.
My opinion much better looking and more comfortable.

Thanks for showing this, because of your video I managed to get a drivers seat and base from the scrap dealer/yard for 40 quid all in. Awesome, then a pair of swivels from Seaside van supply 229 quid for that. Big thanks for showing this video, saved me a bunch. Looks like I might be able to swap the arm rest also on the MK7 seats.

Excellent video, where did you get the swivels from (and how much?), were they ford mk8 swivels or a generic swivel?
