      I will do jim, if your ever in Worcester feel free to join me for a shoot, it took me a while but I can get out to my garden to do it, I'm getting proud of my grouping lol I use used toilet rolls as a target, similar to the paper cup training you showed

    Never really thought bow quivers were traditional, but i suppose everyone has their own definition. Great vid though, keep up the good work!

    • @sovernsectwarren
      @sovernsectwarren 8 років тому

      Modern fiberglass laminated limbs would not be traditional by that definition either. It would be no cut to center bows, no shelf's, made out of 100% wood. The modern string materials would not be traditional either.

    • @MikeMafiaII
      @MikeMafiaII 8 років тому

      sovernsectwarren No not 100% wood, you'd be excluding Asian style composite bows, which are very much considered traditional.
      But again everyone has their own definition etc.

      Mike dN I think the whole "everything" has to be traditional thing is overdone myself but do agree that bow quivers to my eyes atleast belong on compounds and not traditional recurves.

    Great video as always Jim. I do however remember you saying you didn't feel as accurate with a bow quiver. If so, how did you get over this? I personally don't use a bow quiver but imagine it may be cumbersome. Cheers!

    Hi Jim. I bought a bow quiver which seems to be for slimmer arrows. Is there any way how to soften the bottom part rubber/plastic pieces to take these arrows and to make it easier to put arrows in and out? I was thinking drilling a larger hole?

    Maybe someone on here can answer a question I have. I was looking at the great Northern and Selway bow quivers and not too sure what size to order. I shoot goldtip traditional and Cabela's stalker extreme shafts, which size would I need to fit the arrows correctly?

    Ive heard of strap on bow quivers cause pottential damage to bows if they're not on the fade.
    Like a limb snapping.
    Has anyone else heard this?

    Funny that this was the opposite advice you gave in a video from 2013. In that video you didn’t like using a bow quiver and you wanted one that would hold six arrows. Time changes things I guess
