A lot of this started with Bhrmastra released and negativity peaked after SRK came back. This when KGF2, Kantara and RRR success sent shock to Bollywood. Instead of making quality projects and improving content, KJO, YRF, SRK have developed this marketing strategy to buy UA-camrs and critics not only to promote their movies but run down the movies from south industry. This was evident after Negativity was spread by Bollywood after RRR, KGF2, Kantara released on OTT trend was set to call these movies overrated. When movies like all Singh chadda or Bhrmastra released on OTT they called it masterpieces that audience missed watching in theatre. Karan Johar on camera as accepted this several times

The trade numbers do not properly show the South India collection, and they exclude the 3D charges and other factors. Plus, the overseas data is just a prediction from Sachnik. That's why, at the end of its run, this movie will be near RRR or KGF 2.
