@@codytylerhays9224 it’s not the heads that are the problem, I’ve tried it, but it just ate the head cleaner too. the belts aren’t the problem too, so it’s most likely the mode switch

People like myself are cleaning out mode switches in VCR players and that is a dirty mode switch problem it will start working again with out no problem's if you get it clean out

It because the heads of the vcr needs to be cleaned that's what caused it

I already tried that and it didn’t work. The problem is that one of the spools aren’t turning. I most likely need to replace the belts inside it.
