Can’t believe you found our damn towel at the goodwill hahaha random
Can't believe you fell for that hahaha
PERFECT> Love it.
Blake did 10 great tools from the Dollar Store.
Your 10 great finds at GOODWILL is perfect.
My next video will be 10 great fish room tools you can find in your local dumpster.
Heck yeah we have many of these sorts of stores by us and check them out all the time....especially for lights!!!!
That orange thing is a fryer basket to bake french fries and stuff you want crispy...haha. Whatever works :)
Love this! I've scored a few "hides" for my fish that were sold as candle holders or mini planters. Decked out my tank for $5 ! Thanks for the inspo!
This was great fun (and inspiring)! Loved the almost equal billing of houseplants and tanks in that extraordinarily homey fish room. Thanks for putting in the effort to show us this.
LOL at the Co-Op towel... crazy.
Great video. Would of never thought of going to good will for any fish related items. Thanks for sharing.
Never thought of looking for books at GW. Helpful, thanks!
Always enjoy the shenanigans. Cool tip on fixing those jars!
Checked Amazon today. The white book is $600 new and $35 used. The blue book is $80 used. Great ideas for little money...my favorite combination!!!
I give a lot of donations to Goodwill, never thought about going inside to look for things for the fish hobby.
Some great ideas! Got to love those stores
Love your video collaborations
Thanks Tony 😊
Looks like you made out well with some nice scores! That 3 gallon beverage container is so sweet. I gotta find one, one of these days. The replacement spigot on amazon suggestion is a gold nugget!
I really like when channels bring in a guest for their videos like this. Not that there's anything wrong with the regular vids. I enjoy them thoroughly. Just adds a little something which I enjoy. Of course it's got to be the "right" guest. I like when I see you on an Aquarium Co Op vid. Like everyone else, I enjoy when Dean makes an appearance here. But Dani is super great as well. I'd love to start seeing her on other channels. That would be so fun.
I know you and Jimmy are buds. It would be nice to see him as well. Love that guy.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video, and appreciate the compliments! We definitely have plans for more to come.
A lot of great ideas and finds ! One other thing I like to do for further discounts is on Senior citizen discount days at the thrift stores I take my parents and have them cash out for my buys . It is amazing all the great things you can get at Goodwill and such ! 👍🏼🐟🌱
Yeesss, my mother in law lives with us, she has helped me get extra discounts on Senior Day a few times
Looks like it was a fun outing and some good finds! Thrift stores are great for rummaging in! Thanks
We pretty much got junk at our goodwill but I might start looking for more now.
You both always make me smile ,,,, Just chilling and enjoying the day after a water change ,,
stay safe and have a great day you two ,,
Take care From the sunny UK .
Roland
Oh hows the Police car doing ?
Thank you, Roland! Appreciate the support. Have a great day (Evening now!)
Love the Goodwill, lots of great things fish and non fish related.
My recent Goodwill find medium Python 2.99 in packaging and poly fill 1.99.
Good finds! Have found polyfill there myself. I'm in need of another python, will keep my eyes peeled
I got started in this hobby with a $20 5g tank at value village 👍 great place for aquarium gear
Just picked up an amazing curve face 30g tank and gear for free along the road 🙌
Nice video got alot of ideas.
I have to start searching good will more
I have found aquarium stands that they had as tables lol
Yard sales are another excellent source for hobby related items, or things that can be repurposed for hobby use, and a lot of times if nobody has shown any interest in an item, the yard sellers tell me...just take it, we need this junk gone. Serious fish folks are very creative and thrifty, which makes sense. I'd rather spend my money on higher dollar good quality fish.
👍💓👍
Estate Sales too, but be willing to dig. For whatever reason I keep stumbling across metaframes, have two each of the 5g and 10g and regretfully had to pass up an all original 40g setup with its slate intact.
You guys must have hit right after a fish person donated some stuff- great finds! Especially the books and the Co-op towel! And the lamp!
I go to thrift stores for a living for my business now you gave me something else to look for there thanks 😂
Love the video!
Lol who donated the Co-Op Towel? Something I also find at GoodWills is any cheap frames that have glass coverings. Those can be great glass tops for aquariums!
That's a great idea! I am trying to figure out lids for the new fishroom and wanted to go glass, I'll have to take my dimensions to the Goodwill 👍
@@danidoeslife2290 on top of his tip, Dollar Tree also has picture frames with glass and in my experience are cheaper than the thrift store. I breed Pygmy sunfish in 2 gallon cookie jars and the picture frame glass is what I use for lids
@@mikeywalnuts7015 yes I have seen the picture frames there! What type of pygmy sunfish do you breed?? Hoping to start getting some more native species to work with, they are on my list 😊
@@danidoeslife2290 I’ve been breeding elassoma evergladei and it’s a real fun and easy fish to breed. All I really do is put a pair in a 2 gallon nano “tank” with a butt load of moss and hornwort. I then feed live baby brine shrimp everyday and fry just appear. The only thing about them is they are super reclusive and skittish. If you seriously want to get into pygmies check out Aquabid and there is a seller by the name of “Houseofrivs” who almost always has some
@@mikeywalnuts7015 thank you! Love me some good nano fish, and easy breeders 👍 Will definitely check out that seller.
She's a keeper. You better not lose her.
She is not mine to lose
Gonna have to get one of those totes for QT...my original QT tank might have gotten taken over for breeding CPO's -_-
On my way!
Lol yup thrifts are a godsend and yard sales and of course things like creigs list and offer up.
Dani is one fun chica! I would totally hang with her!
Thank you Kelley Lol appreciate the compliment 🤗. If you're in the PNW definitely could!
@@danidoeslife2290 I’m in Indiana. Too bad-we would have a lot of fun talking fish and plants, haha!
I thought I was the only one who does this. I even find slate bottom tanks.
Yes! Slate bottom? That's awesome.
I have found a few 5 and 20 gallon longs and my odd sized 15 gallon. Bring them home, water hold test, and still going 2 years later. Just have to make sure it's aquarium vs. Reptile tanks, with the thinner glass.
The old slate bottom framed tanks can be fixed by filling with hot water from the water tank and adding a quart or two off boiling water then drained it when cold. It works almost every time
Hello...when reading reviews on the Xtreme fishfood someone mentioned the preservative that's in it and gave it a bad review. I'm a newb and after further research I realized the preservative is in most fish food. Wondering what your thoughts on this are. Thanks.
Im not concerned about it. However if you are, xtreme nano does not contain it and is actually my favorite xtreme food.
@@SteenfottAquatics thank you so much. I respect your opinion.
Not sure if it's ever been mentioned but what's the bigger leaved plant behind the jar?
That is a Fiddle Leaf Fig tree 😊
Omg the books. SCORE SCORE SCORE
When will you have those bosemani rainbowfish from your other videos for sale on the website cause those things are awesome
I have those books rotting away in my basement collecting dust...
jealous I live in a small town. so not a whole lot at my good will
Any update on the new fish room
1:50 my quarantine container doubles as a fish supply container when not in use.
Good low price ideas.
I see a storage bins = worms culturing containers
Does Danni have her own channel?

Is Danny your wife???

Well then I am a member of the Noob club 🙋🏼♀️👋 lol
Koi got me in. Will always be a keeper of koi 😊
@@danidoeslife2290 haha I can from the opposite side. But I always wanted a koi pond just didn't know if it would ever possible until this year with qt I just went for it and now I'm hooked on koi lol. I was giving Bob a hard time because I bug him with my koi pics and stuff haha
@@justinpaoli yep lol. Koi, Oscars, Bettas. I Keep all his favorite fish 😉 lol
@@danidoeslife2290 so much better than rainbow fish! Muahahaha 😈🎃😈🎃. Lol kidding
