Safer for people who do not know how to solder

Be honest, You have to admit it’s still safer for people who know how to solder. There is no risk of fire or fire injuries. 😐

@@irfanfarid I understand I'm just old school soldering my pipes together for 40 years. It's as natural for me is people that are pro pressing nowadays. And I just have a hard time with any fitting that relies on an o-ring thank you

@@ricklee827I do agree with you and I have my doubts about the longevity of Propress fittings. I did test them without the O ring and they do create a water tight seal but after years of stress on them from hammering and expansion and contraction due to changing temperatures of water they will eventually rely on the O ring to prevent leaks that open up in the compression.
I made this video testing ProPress fittings without O ring: ua-cam.com/video/URcsgCXP4k8/v-deo.htmlsi=QB-ZoSJS08E4y-Jb
Also in a day or two I’m doing a live video performing this test.

Safer but the leak free lifespan of the joint is like 1/3 of soldered tops.

For longevity, soldering is the way to go.👍

It’s all well and good when it’s setup in a vice in a workshop, but 9/10 times in an actual house you can never get those things in to the space you’re working, which makes them pretty much useless

Totally agree, that's why I ended up getting the c1/v1 kit. That was a hefty $1900 bucks. The C1 actuator is great but I don't know when am I ever going to use the V1 😂, just too big to fit into places

Although I do understand that there will be situations where this won’t fit but I have used this for a year now and never came across that situation.

@@irfanfarid I guess it depends where you live and what type of work you’re doing. If you’re doing new builds then I’m sure it would be fine, but if you’re working on existing properties, especially here in the UK, then yeah there’s very little chance of this tool being able to get in to most areas
