Just bought a new Boss 429 model 1911............. I think I now have perma wood...... I have several Colt, Kimber, Springfield and a few other "Premium" brand 1911's... BUT... None of them compare to this Les Baer beautiful mechanical work of art. My advice would be to get one if at all possible. As a tool and die maker for over 35 years I'll have to say that the fit and function on these pistols are amazing.
