Jax wax wheelbrite is a great cheap fast option to clean oxidized aluminum will make it look flat oem and perfect just spray it on out of the sun and after like a min or so powerwash it off don’t get it on hot parts or eyes
Local HD set me up with everything needed to convert from hydraulic to cable. Was about $400 in factory hd parts. Granted the bike still has a factory clutch basket, not a Barnett made for hydraulic, but I imagine their cable pressure plates would fit the basket?
For those of us who are crippled up with RA and have been riding longer than you have been alive, Mr. Kruesi , we enjoy our soft pull hydraulic clutch, so politely as I can say it on you tube...Blow Me!
Still doesn't mean they should go to a inferior system for all bikes just for a minority of handicap people or people who have the grip strength of a 5 year old. It should be a option at the factory if a hydraulic clutch is needed.
Well let's see.... Lamborghini, Ferrari, BMW, Lotus, and multiple other extremely expensive vehicles including most heavy duty trucks use, wait for it, hydraulic clutch systems. Why, because they work , damn near forever without problems. Sure on a stunt bike the feel of a cable clutch is better, but next time you go to an NHRA top fuel event please notice that the drag bikes, the gas bikes, almost always use a hydraulic clutch system. Seems like a good system to me. By the way my last shovelhead had a hydraulic system from the aftermarket and it operated flawlessly for over 100,000 miles.
@kugangles9860 And Mr.kugangles, after you come back from serving 2 or 3 tours over seas with a body all screwed up you just might like a soft hydraulic clutch. Till then you keep one hand crushing those beer cans, cause you're a real tough guy.
Very understandable, but you can get a softer pole with a cable clutch and a good Mueller easy pole in the transmission. 25 years of turning wrenches, professionally carpal, tunnels real deal. I like them as soft as I can possibly get them.
Motorcycle lift, we use Handy they are the best, they are about $1600 for the table and about $350 for the vice for the front wheel. At least that’s how much they cost about five years ago when I bought the last one.
Fast path to a shitty death, 😂 Classic, having breakfast gotta a long day ahead, but your videos always cheer me up. FYI, I'm a funeral director, and your rite
My first bikei bought. I was 21 (im 31 now) was an 07 wide glide with mini apes and long shots and i thought it was so fucking cool. God am i embarrassed by that shit now. Even worse probably is my second bike was a fatboy lo. Im 6'3 . I don't belong on anything thats low.
@kruesioriginals that bike was absolutely dope. But yeah. Any bigger person looks ridiculous on a fatboy. Especially one that's lowered. I have a pic of me rolling into bike week on it from like 8 years ago and its so cringe. I was for sure a hell yeah brother

The Fatboy we built for Joe was super dope, but when I wrote it, I look ridiculous, I’m way too big for those older soft tails
