You should start filming all six of the Metro Express, bus lines. ( 460, 487, 489, 501, 550, 577 ). I’d really would like to see the ElDorado buses used on the 460. Lol
A majority of routes you mentioned are on my agenda lol. I’ve filmed Lines 501, and 550 already but are waiting to be published which won’t be until probably September or October.
I personally would not count on them since they are not reliable. MTA only runs them during rush on weekdays on the J line, and occasionally route 70 on weekends. They barely run them in Full Day Service, not sure how they can handle and evaluate their performance in terms of full day service. MTA should consider hydrogen fuel cell bus. Foothill has been using them and they seem enjoying it.
Recently Metro’s division 18 has been sending their BYDs 10003 and 10004 on local routes 40, 210, 111, and 550. Occasionally you’ll see them on other routes as well.
Metro’s been testing them on the silver line during morning and rush hours on weekdays since December 2021 and they’ve been testing them on the 70 since March of this year. I’ve heard that division 18 has been testing theirs on the 40.
why dont they just use the orange line buses on the silver line? The silver line is always crowded, but its cool metro is also using these on local routes
If you want to see more of this route I’ve made full ride along videos which I will link below if you want to check them out: Eastbound: ua-cam.com/video/eICMChUjBBM/v-deo.html Westbound: ua-cam.com/video/B-3v28wfTrw/v-deo.html

Nice. And yes 10001 was out on the 70 today again as well.

The articulated BYD electric buses are supposedly like a extra fleet of buses for the G Line but they’re still in the acceptance phase.
Rare
Make another video of the same route please
