+Niamh McGrath What mistreatments? -- (Side note: Don't all famous idols get mistreated? I mean all SM and JYP (for sure YG too) idols only sleep for less than 4 hours when promoting. When SuJu first started, popular members (Heechul, Siwon, Eunhyuk, etc) get only at most 1 hour of sleep. Years 2011 to 2013, there were many months where SNSD members only sleep inside the plane because they tour the world and their appearances are non-stop.) --- Pledis sucks in managing their artists, when WG was in US while KARA and SNSD were in Japan; 4Minute, Secret, 2ne1, and After School were leading Korea. Now, After School is a buried diamond. I'm so pissed at Pledis.

They went to survival show, the tried their best, almost half of them give up on their childhood to catch their dream, signed on so called 'well known agency' but end up in dungeon for 2 years after debut and now disband them. Pledis has mad visual for real After School all model like , seventeen and nuest are handsome, these trainee they are not kidding I mean Pledis has Nana and Uee.
In my honest opinion: Aside from SM, PLEDIS is the only company out there who can cast trainees with both talents and untouchable visuals like omg look at the PLEDIS Girls, AfterSchool, Nuest and Seventeen + Yoo Ara and Yooyoung (ex members of Hello Venus). Plus, their training system is very good. They enhanced the weaknesses of every trainees. You can clearly see in their artists. It's just that the company sucks for not exposing them more :D
I feel like their company also has a lot of scandals against their artists.. like from the outside it doesn't seem like they treat their artists/trainees very well.. It's hard to know what's true and what's not but I just see so much crap coming out of Pledis as opposed to the other companies.
I've been saying this for so long but pledis really has what it takes to be part of the big 3 but their managing is so terrible....if they got their shit together they would really be a powerhouse company bc all their trainees and groups are so talented.
Andrew Lee Well that's slightly changing, Pledis are doing well with SVT and they did a good thing by sending Pledis Girls on to PD101. Also, Orange Caramel was promoted pretty well and had successful comebacks. I think Pledis is going to a lot more promotions with their new girl group, using exposure from this show and income from Seventeen.
Looking back at this there's really no point of sending your trainee to a survival show and getting 2 of them debuting with ioi then debuting them under your label which only lasted 2 years without proper promotion.
And branding them as Pledis Girlz and had a predebut concert and winning the rookie of the year on their debut only to disband them two years later? Pledis done fucked up
+reyn buenaventura i think Pledis use Produce 101 as marketing strategy, which is pretty clever! with 7 trainees in the program they will get a lot of attention, a fanbase starting to grow, they will collect stage and broadcast experience, the public start to know them... the perfect base to a successful debut! i´m pretty sure even if non of them will be part of this project girl group, the program is a successes for Pledis!

also yewon too! when yewon smiles, the sun shines. her charisma is no joke. she's pretty good at english, her vocals are next to shannon, and her dancing is powerful. i could hardly imagine her perform in pd101 and she would def make it til the last episode along with sungyeon. *repeats shannon's produce 101 pick me perf in girl spirit* sungyeon trained long enough, i wish she participated in produce 101. everyone would have been SHOOK by her vocals and dancing. but honestly. it's a good thing kyla wasn't able to be apart of produce 101. i mean, she's too young and still lacking. people would have bashed her honestly, especially her weight which i find nothing wrong (it's annoying to read comments saying she should lose weight. her current weight is better than starving yourself). anyways, she improved so MUUUCHH and she doesn't show how good she is at dancing, (look up for her dance cover with siyeon of nick jonas' bacon. and their live perf of catch me if you can). her dancing isn't that bad than my first impression of her. her rapping is like the combination of 17 wonu and vernon. rap prodigy.

In my honest opinion: Aside from SM, PLEDIS is the only company out there who can cast trainees with both talents and untouchable visuals like omg look at the PLEDIS Girls, AfterSchool, Nuest and Seventeen + Yoo Ara and Yooyoung (ex members of Hello Venus). Plus, their training system is very good. They enhanced the weaknesses of every trainees. You can clearly see in their artists. It's just that the company sucks for not exposing them more :D
I feel like their company also has a lot of scandals against their artists.. like from the outside it doesn't seem like they treat their artists/trainees very well.. It's hard to know what's true and what's not but I just see so much crap coming out of Pledis as opposed to the other companies.

Andrew Lee Well that's slightly changing, Pledis are doing well with SVT and they did a good thing by sending Pledis Girls on to PD101. Also, Orange Caramel was promoted pretty well and had successful comebacks. I think Pledis is going to a lot more promotions with their new girl group, using exposure from this show and income from Seventeen.
If Pledis can promote the Pledis girlz like they promote seventeen they can be very popular

Looking back at this there's really no point of sending your trainee to a survival show and getting 2 of them debuting with ioi then debuting them under your label which only lasted 2 years without proper promotion.
And branding them as Pledis Girlz and had a predebut concert and winning the rookie of the year on their debut only to disband them two years later? Pledis done fucked up
