Here in 2024 he can still hit notes like back in the LAW & US and Them days. He picks & chooses when to hit them but he does. He did admit in interviews he did do damage to his voice because he wasn't singing right. He did get vocal lessons after SOM.
He just seems far more uninterested in any live stuff I've seen on here since their acoustic DVD. Am I the only one who thinks Brent looks likes he's just going through the motions?
I was at this concert and he explained at the end that he was up for 36 hours straight. He was still very professional and he let us some fans have pictures and autographs when he sat in the audience. I know this because I was one of the lucky ones.
SHINEDOWN are very proud of their live performance and always try to give 110%. They know where their bread is coming from. I wouldn't let 1 incident where he's jet lagged make you jump to conclusions about him growing apathetic. He's only human like the rest of us who have our days feeling up and down.

15 years and 10's of thousands of rotations later Brent still gives me chills on just about everything he sings. Crazy.

The cover by Aaron Lewis is better but to each their own. Brent is singing it a little too fast here.
